but these results are in line with high end expectations. Those with the better eyesight where expected to show the most gains

The other thing that concerns me is that I was thinking that with a good rns behind us the share price would blast past £3 but we will now have to wait for the next checkpoint so my thinking is that a drift back to £2.00 is on the cards unless the conference brings in another partner.
Just my thoughts and still positive.

Yes thanks but I cant be the only person to read the rns as slightly negitive. It just seemed that they were not 100% happy with the results but wanted to put a positive spin on the rns.

Buy on rumour and sell on news. At least until it settles down.

"....two patients experiencing surgical procedure-related loss of vision"

More clarification required.

I believe there is only one patient in the post 9 months category (n=1) whereas there are 4 (different) patients in the 6 month category.

Looking back to the April announcement there was only one patient in the 120 day category so five months later that individual would be in the 9 month category.

That's my interpretation at least, happy to be corrected.

All the best.

Marwalker- There has been no fall in vision acuity improvement in any patient. The effect you noticed is due to patients enrolled into the later trial that are not counted in months 6 and 9 as they have not been on the trial long enough.

Data used for months one to three includes six patients.

Data used for month six includes three patients.

Data used for month nine is just one patient.

Therefore, the visual acuity improvement of the single patient that has been in the trial for 9 months is shown in it's singular perfection only in the 9 month data, the contribution it makes to the average figures in previous months is overshadowed by the even greater improvements from the more recent recruits that are included in those averages.

Hope this makes sense! :)

Hmm I was thinking that with the rns not in the fantastic category woodford may need to sell some of his shares and bank some recent gains .
Want to be positive but got that feeling when reading the rns.

Not forgetting Woodford. He has to tidy up & it means some hope
for his unfortunate investors.

I forget how many he has still, but it's going to be a tug of war
between him & the positive direction of the shares.

Patience will win (I'm NOT selling). Woody got that one right &
his stake might interest an II or other pharma company?

But does not the fall in vision acuity improvement from 28.7 to 12 in the 6 to 9 month period cause concern ?

Comment appreciated.

There are literally zero options for patients with RP. This data is highly encouraging. These shares should be worth at least 3 times current....
