Must have touched a raw nerve didn't know you shared Rockets bed Nobus so basically you're both losers. Guys when you lose money and then the control of your language and blame everyone else for your mistakes means you're losers and nobody cares about your constant moaning, absolutely no one, they just laugh at you and they're very glad not to be you. I've lost loads and made more but I don't bore people with it so why not spend your negative energy on helping yourselves. I don't care how you respond because I shall never read it

I'm sorry to hear that you took a hit on this share-or in its previous existence- but there is a lot of total bs being spouted by senior execs at quoted companies. AIM is a full of companies whose only rationale is giving lots of money to the founders. Heads they win, tails we lose. It's a minefield.

I took a hit in Firestone Diamonds, a recommendation of a friend who supposedly knew the management well. They had a small portfolio of working and prospective mines. Loads of fund raisings, loads of optimistic statements about producing a million carats a year. It has never been close. The two brothers who ran the company left to set up a Canadian quoted company mining for rare earths, the hot sector at the time. That started life just a few years ago at $3 and they even conned a Korean agency to invest $10mil. The shares ran down to almost zero and are no longer quoted. I followed their bs from a distance that time.

As I said a few days ago, IMO Rene is a similar situation: they have four prospects with the potential returns for success greater the further away from development each prospect is. Meanwhile they are burning cash. Two of the most important people who, I gather, ran it into the ground when you were an investor, are still with the company and earning more than anyone else according to the last set of accounts, and Evans the "entrepreneur" is still around. So the warning signs are all there for anyone to see.

Against that the Chairman, particularly, has a background in selling out to bigger drug companies. Also, one of the City's best fund managers has bought a big stake at 5p. I'm assuming he's not naïve and has done his homework with the management. I would expect him to kick out dead wood (you know who) if this starts failing to meet the expectations for success in the trials on which he, no doubt, made his investment.

Investing in AIM stocks is very high risk. It has more than its share of conmen with a great line in bs. Anyone who invests in Rene should recognise that it could well be one of these. My investment is tiny. So, I won't be bothered if it goes bust. Unfortunately, the conmen will have made a very fat wedge by the time it does. But I'm a great believer in "what goes around, comes around".

A lot of homophobic commentary on here.

rf, I wasn't threatening you when I suggested meeting. If you'd agreed I'd have asked you to bring your last half dozen trades because I suspect you don't do any. By excusing yourself from meeting me, you just demonstrated what a frightened little man you are.

If you want to see positives for Rene, check out the cv's of the Chairman and Chief Exec. They have a history of selling off small biotech companies to bigger companies.

Want a negative?

Woodford doesn't get them all right. But then no one does.
