If it's one entity they've taken around 10% of company so we can expect an RNS over the next few days

I wonder how much a big player would value the potential of these drugs? 10p, 20p, 40p?

Yes someone likes this. Let's hope it's not bought out before its potential is realised. Looks so promising!

One hospital bed costs the nhs about 150,000 pounds a year and there were c140,000 beds in 2014.

Stroke patients occupy around 20 per cent of all acute hospital beds and 25 per cent of long term beds.

Each year in England, approximately 110,000 people have a first or recurrent stroke and a further 20,000 people have a transient ischaemic attack (TIA). More than 900,000 people in England are living with the effects of stroke, and half of these are dependent on other people for help with everyday activities.
In England, stroke is estimated to cost the economy around £7 billion per year. This comprises direct costs to the NHS of £2.8 billion (around £5.5 million per 100,000 population), costs of informal care of £2.4 billion and costs because of lost productivity and disability of £1.8 billion.

I know I might be accused of 'pushing' TRX here and I do hold the shares, but they report on the 11th I believe? So watch the birdie there, it could be interesting, if not then, then later.

I keep buying into the biotechs/medics, even though I'm a past holder of British Biotech. I didn't actually come to harm there, as I sold down as their shares went up, only to fall on their so called, cancer wonder drug, falling at the last hurdle!

You can't win them all?

I mentioned TRX earlier here. Woodford holds 15% of that.

I'm inclined to follow him in both! He has a good reputation to protect!!

Useful reassurance

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) – consisting of a full chamber of 13 judges, as opposed to the customary five – has handed down a landmark decision in relation to the patentability of stem cells in Europe. The ECJ ruled that parthenotes (unfertilised human eggs which have been stimulated to divide in the absence of sperm) are not classed as “human embryos” within the meaning of the EC Biotech Directive1 (the Directive) and, therefore, can be patented.

A small relief to ReNeuron I am sure.
