Do we actually know how many Verici shares we actually got? Mine are described as "prov." Presumably provisional?

Excellent news regarding the level of interest and oversubscription in Verici (Renalytix spin-out). I am hoping EKF participated (above their in specie shares) and that Renalytix retain a sizeable stake.

Bit more on Verici : The Restricted Offer for up to £0.5 million was significantly oversubscribed as expected. The Placing, Subscription and Restricted Offer have, in aggregate, raised £14.5 million through the issue of a total of 72,500,000 new Ordinary Shares at the Issue Price. The allotment and issue of Verici Dx Shares in connection with the Restricted Offer remains conditional upon, among other things, Admission, which is expected to take place on 3 November.

Having run the rule over a few area's, I am quite hopeful for a number of positive KidneyIntelX updates between this November and next January.

Don't forget the free shares are subject to lock-in (as opposed to lock down!)

you can trade the ones you purchased

AKBell delivered for me too, last minute though it was. This was a PI subscription and very small % of the overall offer. Anyway we shall see soon enough.

I can confirm that AJBell left it last minute for me. HL were a bit quicker. iDealing didn't even entertain the possibility of participating. So I am not surprised if it wasn't oversubscribed. You have to understand us small retail investors will always get the short end of the stick.

Management may well genuinely want PI's on board with this but the whole industry thinks of us PI's as sheep so the concern is only in passing and if absolutely necessary.

Rant over

Doesn't sound like good news. Over subscription means you get an allocation. If you get the full sub then they are probably scratching around. Just saying it like it is. I am a RENX shareholder but while I will receive my divestment shares I did not apply for more.

Have just watched the results call from yesterday, bar the first 20 minutes of scripted talk I thought the rest of it was excellent. There is a tonne of newsflow to come and I'd advise any investor to watch the Q&A session which is available on the Investor Meet Company plaform.

I thought that questions were answered very well by James McCulloch, with a lot of positivity on the future of KidneyIntelX. On Kantaro he emphasised that although the FDA have now closed the EUA pathway, they submitted before the change so are being assessed. He mentioned that it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect to receive EUA in November, but this is at the mercy of the FDA, so absolutely no guarantees.

Pleased to see the Kantaro news this morning from EKF, completely agree with the summary from @Wan, lots to be positive about as an EKF & RENX shareholder.

My take from the EKF thread -

This is indeed a very interesting development and is timely given the very recent news flow surrounding the research findings regarding the relatively rapidly decline in antibodies post Covid infection.

First and foremost these tests are unique, they are the first tests to deliver quantitative COVID antibody testing and without needing specialised testing equipment.

My interpretation is that demand will be strong, but importantly demand is likely to build significantly as we strive to understand what concentration of antibodies confers immunity, and indeed whether any potential vaccines require repeat doses etc. Clearly this will be immediately incremental business for EKF, and it could build to being a very significant addition!

Ultimately, this gives EKF exposure to the explosion in research into understanding what level of antibodies protect from reinfection (and possibly as part of Covid recovery during/after hospital admission i.e. declining antibody levels might imply the patient is recovering), vaccine development (even those in late stage) and possibly post vaccine development i.e. do you need a vaccine, or do you need a top-up!
