Yes surprising. :)) Surgical face masks cost between 1 and 5 rupees in India. Yes that's approx 1 to 5 pence. I've spent about 6 months of my life in India, I love the place. One of the most inexpensive places on the planet. Very resourceful people, kind despite the difficulties. Sending masks in the hope of picking up interest is a desperate move. 750k masks at 2.5 rupees equates to £16500. The maths doesn't add up.
