Would a slightly higher majority in favour of leaving have made any difference whatsoever to the omnishambles that's happened since the vote?

It's a shame Scotland did not achieve independence on the first referendum. Then without the inclusion of Scots' votes the subsequent Brexit referendum would have been far more conclusive.

Guess it's not a debate to get into here, but there's not far short of de facto independence already - differing personal tax rates, differing legal system, differing views on property rights. Let Sturgeon & her crowd make their own mistakes I guess.

I think we are better off with the Scots. I know they are better off with us, and I think it unlikely they will sleepwalk to independence. That said, Theresa could cause anything (disaster) to unfold.

"Socialist Republic of Scotland" 😊

You're right of course. Happily RGL has recently very substantially reduced their exposure North of the Border; though personally I would like to see it reduced to ZERO. Sell whilst there are still bidders in place at good valuations; and relocate the management company South of the border.

Yep NRR is on a big 18% nav discount because of its association with retail. Annuals were a little disappointing too with a price to earnings of 18. Rgl came in at a rather flattering p/e of 6 with its wheeling and dealing on the balance sheet. Still on a 6% discount, possibly because it has some presence in the Socialist Republic of Scotland and the misperception it's in retail ( very marginal in both cases).
I guess the Market has the nav discounts about right.

Yes, indeed. But I was comparing it the other REITs which have moved much more slowly (in both directions).

93p was only 4 days after the all share nadir on 27th December. Ftse all share up 12%, RGL is up 14%. In that respect RGL doesn't seem too toppy.

My definition of “few” is enough to go back to January. If I had said a few months, that might imply rather longer. It was 93p in Jan.

Kind of - they’ve turned up by 3% or so, whereas RGL is up 13% the past few weeks. NRR looking better too, notwithstanding the Woodford cloud above.

Pretty quiet other than on recent tip, unlike eg SHED, RLE, AEWU which have all turned up the past few days.

All (inc RGL) quite cheap still, looking at NAV & yield, though I've let go a few RGL recently.

Anyone know why this is bucking the negative small-cap property trend at the moment?

It is flying!

Thanks Skyship - a comfortable hold for me for income. I suspect the capital growth return is done for the moment (from the dec 18 lows) but would hope to see this drift up to 110p at some point.

Edison interview with CEO. All looks good and on track to meet their objective return of 10%+ in 2019:
