25/1/2016 15:06 | Interview with Blancco's CEO - sounds like good news re the new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Extract: "GDPR presents a tooling and culture challenge It might seems strange to talk about data privacy as presenting a corporate culture challenge but that is the reality for many organisations. The cost and complexity of introducing internal data controls means it gets continually sidelined in favour of other projects that are revenue generating. With the explosion of cloud and the amount of data exfiltrated by users as opposed by hackers, there are already a lot of concerns over how to handle data. Pat Clawson, CEO of Blancco Technology Group said: “Because the EU GDPR negotiations stretched on for the last four years, many organizations held out hope that an agreement would be postponed, or if things went the way they hoped, the negotiating parties would never come to agreement. “Now that the EU GDPR is a reality and the new privacy rules will be ratified by the European Council in early 2016, many organizations have a considerable amount of work ahead of them to align their IT governance and data protection programs with both regulatory and customer demands." etc" | rivaldo

14/1/2016 20:55 | No reason to sell RGS before the disposal. A SotP valuation gives a price considerably above the market price. My guess its about 50% upside | adamb1978
14/1/2016 10:07 | The trading update confirms that trading is in line with expectations and, more importantly, that the disposal process for the Aftermarket Services division is going to plan, with a number of indicative offers having been received. We have increased our FY16 year-end net debt estimate by £1.4m, mainly as a result of exceptional deal costs, but we see no real change to the investment story, with our sum of the parts continuing to suggest that the shares are significantly undervalued. | aishah
13/1/2016 13:52 | .....and bought given the share price rise. Large volumes are excellent news in clearing any overhangs. | rivaldo

13/1/2016 10:55 | Panmure reiterate BUY and 270p target | aishah
13/1/2016 10:01 | Positive t/s Peel Hunt indicate same & mention "...disposal process of the Aftermarket division has received interest from a number of large organisations. We expect gross proceeds of £75m with majority of cash to be returned to shareholders..." On Blancco, "...organic sales growth at c30% vs PHe of 25%. Blancco continues to make progress with corporate customers and won their first $1m contract in H1. Higher sales growth also means margins are likely to be close to last year despite investment in the sales team." They've raised their target price to 200p on the back of today's statement. "Post disposal of the aftermarket division, the remaining Blancco business will be a very different proposition as it becomes a pure play software business with high growth and margins, we nudge up our TP by 5p to 200p." 13/1/2016 09:38 | Also the following: As a result of the strategic review process...this process remains on plan and has moved onto its next stage within the expected time frame. For those of us who don't hold RGS in an ISA, I hope the special dividend is paid before April 6th when dividends start being taxed. | mfhmfh
13/1/2016 09:29 | Nice update. Techinvest made them one of their NAP tips for 2016 with a rating of 6. They expect RGS to attract a much higher security software type rating once the hardware repair ops is divested. | aishah
13/1/2016 09:12 | I liked the following: The Software business significantly increased sales....whilst also maintaining its operating profit margin. | mfhmfh

04/12/2015 16:43 | RGS about to sell a large part of its business. Do you know how it will use the proceeds? Come to a free event in London on Tuesday 15 December where CFO Jog Dhody will explain the company's plans and give you the chance to ask questions about the prospects for Regenersis in 2016. hxxp://www.sharesmag | jwallz |
