06/9/2012 21:52 | You've not lorst it Beeksy. Not at all, by no measure, definitely not. Although maybe just a tad. A smidgeon of an iota, at most. But it ought not to be plotted over time. I dunno. Becoming 'reasonable' was never the way forward, fella. You know that. XXX Es | festering pustule
06/9/2012 10:27 | RNS 18th Jun 'The SV-53 well was spudded on 28 February 2012. The well is scheduled to take 400 days to reach its target depth of 5,450 metres and is targeting the Visean reservoirs ("B-Sands"). The well is currently drilling at a depth of 4,032 metres. The MEX-105 well was spudded on 17 April 2012. The well is scheduled to take 350 days to reach its target depth of 5,250 metres and is also targeting the B-Sands. The well is currently drilling at a depth of 2,250 metres.' SV-53 4,032 metres in 108 days = 37.3m pd MEX-105 2,250 metres in 62 days = 36.3m pd Depth to drill as at 18/06/12, SV-53 1,418m & MEX-105 3,000m Even allowing for double the time to drill lower section SV-53 should have reached TD by now. 1,418m / 18.65m pd = 76 days = 2nd Sep. Were the 12 month drilling timescales for the two wells more overly cautious updates from Energees? Even allowing another 2.5 months+ for completion & testing that would still only be end of Nov for SV-53, 9 months in total. Lots of news due: Current production levels after first workover Increase production after MEX-3 repairs. Methanol production upgrades LPG installation Updates on 2 wells being drilled. Interim results showing strong profits/cash generation. 2 more workovers in 2012 on existing wells. Only a maximum of another 22 days until interims released. | j drama
31/8/2012 09:40 | Only a month to go before interims have to be released. It will be very interesting to find out what the post workover production number is & why they didn't disclose it in the last update. It's not as if Energees have anything to lose by releasing it even if it was rubbish. Make or break time IMO as to whether the licences are any good. | j drama
22/8/2012 03:08 | Encouraging to see that 100k buy at 17.5p yesterday, largest single buy I've seen for a while. ADVFN no longer has RPT quoted on the PLUS market, does anyone know whether this has been cancelled? | j drama

13/8/2012 09:27 | There is some news due, the interim results before end of Sept. Last results were released a fair bit before deadline so could be before end of Aug. I'm expecting a decent increase from current levels post results release on basis of cash produced ($9m+) if nothing else. In for a few more. | j drama

07/8/2012 07:05 | Interesting to see the results of this at JKX '7 August 2012 JKX OIL & GAS plc ("JKX") ANNOUNCES AWARD OF MULTI-STAGE FRACTURE STIMULATION CONTRACT JKX Oil & Gas plc ("JKX") is pleased to announce the award of contracts between its wholly owned subsidiary, Poltava Petroleum Company ("PPC"), and Schlumberger to perform fracture stimulation ("frac") operations on well-R103 in the Rudenkovskoye licence, Poltava, Ukraine. Well R103 was drilled in 2010 to a total measured depth of 4,589m including a sub-horizontal component of 1,000m in a low permeability gas bearing Devonian sandstone unit. Detailed geological and engineering studies have concluded that the well will benefit from a multi-stage fracture treatment. In 2011, Schlumberger won a competitive bid to design the R103 multi-stage frac. Following a further tender process, additional contracts have now been signed with several other Schlumberger divisions to source the chemicals, materials, equipment and services necessary to perform a 9-stage frac operation. Pre-frac preparations on the well, which include the replacement of the liner, are well advanced, with the injectivity test scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2012. It has been agreed to perform the bulk of the frac operation in the second quarter of 2013 in recognition of both the complex logistics sourcing and mobilisation of long-lead items into Ukraine and the adverse climatic conditions of the Ukrainian winter. JKX Chief Executive, Dr Paul Davies, commented: "We are very pleased to have placed these series of contracts with an industry leader and look forward to the successful completion of one of the largest frac operations in the region."' | j drama

02/8/2012 22:00 | Mostly buys and yet the share price goes down, it's as if the share price is deliberately being manipulated in a downwards projection despite buys exceeding sells on several days, recently? I just can't make sense of it. | volkswag |
