asparks .... got out of CPO before the recent fall. There was an article in the Bristol local newspaper saying the council contract was going to be awarded to CPO within a few days .... but more than a month on there was no rns concerning it. So erred on the side of safety and got out at a profit.

krishall - I've been in CPO and made quite a good profit. Looking to buy back in when time is right. They now have financing arrangement

krishall and asparks,

thanks for your suggestions. I will track RAB and them but am unlikely to buy unless I can see a dividend stream and an share price lower than NAV.

krishall - you may also want to check out Alkane (ALK) - another in this sector that is seriously undervalued, and which should return a maiden profit in 2006

PS.... also still in TER. That's the one I like best in this 'sector' at the moment. As usual, time will tell..... !!

Yes, I'm still in. Wasn't much point selling out after they came back from suspension. With the additional 'cash' funds they should be able to get some reasonable investments at reasonable costs if present market continues. Yes, RAB is good news. That's another reason I didn't sell out recently.

Still in ECG, IEM, and REH.
Ditched TRE, CLE, and MNE with reasonabe (but not perfect) timing recently.

krishall,

Are you still in here? RAB holding must be good news. What is the story and potential?

Well looks like it's effectively option a). (see my post # 46) to keep the company going - with the 'additional investors' being some of the original investors stumping up the extra money - but at the 'bargain' price of 30p a share. However, a brief look at todays release seems to indicate that for legal reasons they've also got to offer other existing (UK based) investors a similar 'deal'.

and given the fall in share price then who knows.... the present mkt cap might be less than the asset value if they haven't burnt too much of the money they actually did get at the time of placing.

There's a lot of money chasing the Green / Renewable projects. Seems as much of it didn't go ReEnergy's way as was originally expected. So as far as I can see there might be four outcomes for RGY:
a). They do find additional investors so that the company can continue at the sort of size originally planned. (Possibly might happen)
b). They can 'look' for someone to take them over. (less likely - but who knows).
c). They can muddle thru on existing money available. (less likely).
d). They can decide to wind up the company and distribute resultant monies to shareholders. (a possibility).

Just my 2p's worth.

krishall,

Was that sale over NMS by any chance?

If so, it would be reported late, hence showing after suspension.

I guess I wouldn't be too pleased at subscribing to a share at 75p with a bid around 40p either!

Good luck all.

interesting that the LSE site shows a sale of 26,666 shares timed at more than an hour after the suspnsion rns.

on a light hearted note then perhaps RGY should change the wording on their website from 'New Site Coming Very Soon' to 'New Company Going Very Cheap'

11 April 2006

ReEnergy Group plc ("ReEnergy" or the "Company")
Suspension of trading on AIM

The Company has today requested that the trading of its ordinary shares on AIM be suspended pending clarification of the Company's financial position.

The suspension follows the non-receipt of funds as a result of the failure of Boston Equities International to subscribe pursuant to its contractual commitment for #1.25 million of ordinary shares in ReEnergy at 75p each by 31 March 2006.

Shareholders will be kept informed of further developments in due course.

All of the alt energy diversified companies i.e. Tersus, Renewable Energy Holdings, Novera, Reenergy etc are all taking a bit of a beating of late. They dont seem to be taking off and all are well down from recent highs.

Not sure why tho - other than maybe they are diversified too much?

I'm interested in investing in most of the above but until sentiment changes towards them (and i dont see why they have bad sentiment at the moment) then ill hold off buying in.

Also they trade on very sporadic volumes - some days nothing, mostly a few thousand and now and then several million.
