dog are Vionx screaming from the rooftops about their sales ??? they have installed one!!! could it be that the cost not ready yet??? still waiting for ??? think you may guess what I was going to put !!!! yes they could be waiting for a Gen 3 type battery to be released, they do not want to deploy too many costly installations ...

NO mobile not really suitable for mobile applications, but that applies to most battery tech. but saying that your figures are a little out the norm for VRFB is 20wh/Kg, but Vionx recon they can double that figure and there is a piece about Vionx I wont cover here, plus you forgot to take into account the weight of the generator.. so a 100Kva weighs around 2.5 tons without any housing. A friend of mine has a generator on hire at the moment and it was delivered and housed in a 20 foot steel container, he has to have fuel delivered every couple of days and it does not regenerate itself like a VRFB with solar, so you could say that a generator not really suitable for remote locations, like, lets say telecom towers, flow battery,s are more reliable than a generator, flow battery,s do not require the same servicing so a saving on cost also with flow battery,s.

conclusion there is room and space for all technology,s, that is why the generator firm Aggreko has teamed up with Yunicos on battery storage, if storage was not the way forward Aggreko would not be in pursuit of storage technology.

I don’t think flow batteries will be useful for mobile applications due to extremely low energy density:

Vanadium redox energy density=15wh/kg

Diesel energy density=12666wh/kg

Why does Gen 3 need to be hybrid?Why are there not two models with Lithium ,without it?Is it do with response when the grid needs rapid assistance ?I suddenly realised the only thing I get about Gen3 is cost reduction for to make us profitable. How does adding the lithium bits and pieces not add to cost.Confused of W12.

Mobile Energy Architecture.Just for fun whilst we join institution waiting for 22p.You have to have an EV and you have to travel well over the range of the new Post Tesla , Post Leaf 2 vehicles. I e over 300 miles of the new Jag etcetera. What if your vehicle had two Lithium batteries and a Vanadium tank? This is Post a little development incidentally . Constituents lightened by Graphene and our architecture scaled down somewhat. One lithium exhausted by power donation as you got out of town is refreshed by the Redt Vanadium tank, the other is handling the low power request of motorway driving . The Vanadium tank is refreshed by Kers when braking , and all other modern techniques are employed. Sure it needs charging- the whole thing that is , but only after 600 miles or so.That'd get us noticed. Lol.

Under EU rules, any single location in the UK can only break the hourly air pollution limit 18 times in a year, and Brixton Road in Lambeth reached that mark on Tuesday morning.

It is expected to breach the limit either later on Tuesday or on Wednesday morning.

Levels of toxic nitrogen dioxide pollution in the UK have broken legal limits every year since 2010.

A recent report published by the French Agency for Health and Environmental Safety (AFSSE) claims that the unrestrained consumption of fossil fuels is killing tens of thousands of people in Europe. In France alone, automobile emissions kill up to 10,000 people per year, says the report.

Furthermore, between six and 11 per cent of all lung cancer cases in France are caused by automobile emissions, which could represent up to 1,713 deaths a year. One can also add the cases of cardio-respiratory diseases of which 'seven per cent are directly imputable to urban pollution', representing 4,876 deaths a year.

The End Of Oil Within 10 Years?
