Lovely shuttering - job's a good 'un.

Both rog and Tom Winnerfrith are pouring money onto a hole in the ground - but with wildly differing results!

Perhaps TW meant Woodford was building a holding too big to sell and therefore was trapping himself in the liquidity sense.

Yes the phrase may be vulgar but it was appropriate in this case because Woodford has got about £5BN trapped across all his funds, it's going to take years to free it up.

It could well have been much more about Woodford than Redd rog.

rogthepodge, yes TW thinks REDD is overvalued, so what? The guy has saved me money over the time I have been a subscriber, that doesn't mean I agree with everything he says, but I do like to look at both sides of the story. I certainly dont get upset when he critiques a holding I have, I take it on board with the rest of my research and make a decision from there.

Like I said earlier, with the news today I think REDD is worth buying so I have bought. TW probably won't agree with me but so what?

Saint, there is no short interest in REDD and TW is not short.

Shorters should now be starting to panic. Watch the price rise as they disorderly scramble for the exits - no women and children first policy when it comes to TW and his disciples.

rogthepodge. He wasn't damning of REDD so much as Woodford. I agree to an extent with his analysis on REDD but with the update today I now think it's worth a small investment.

Pleased for everyone here. I for one would like to see Woodford recover so it is good to see some goodish news for a change.
