The Board of BCA has received a proposal from investment funds managed by TDR Capital LLP ("TDR") to acquire the entire issued share capital of BCA at a price of 243 pence per share in cash (the "Possible Offer Price"). The Possible Offer Price values the entire issued share capital of BCA (excluding treasury shares) at approximately GBP1,906 million and represents a premium of approximately:

-- 29.5% to the volume-weighted average price of 187.7 pence per share for the 1 month ended 19 June 2019 (being the last trading day prior to this announcement);

Woodford will only sell more if he absolutely has to, and there are clearly buyers at current prices. The yield and p/e are both extremely attractive.
