The standard guidelines from the govt website;
Your employer can award you up to £3,000 worth of free shares in any tax year. An employer may link the award of shares to performance, for example individual performance, the performance of the team or division. The company must ensure it establishes these targets in advance.

No performance conditions are in place here which continues the trend of poor corporate governance.
The shares went to 17 staff for the full amount and 1 putting in £140 (capped at 10% of salary) so one staffer's fees looks to have been 2x £1,400 at RRR and RGM (plus £6,560 in free shares). Maybe that was the fee for ABs family member to do those corporate videos last year.

I worked for twenty years for someone and helped to build his business into the best in the country and make him one of the 100 richest people in the country according The Time Rich List.

I received share options as well ... after fifteen years. I really felt that I had earned them. I wonder if the 'three month johnny come latelies' feel as if they have earned their shares.

ciao - and it gets better in so much that the SIP limit in the 2014/2015 tax year is now £3600.00

How long till we get an RNS extending the money they can put in to that new maximum.

BBR he's totally in touch with the typical RRR holder and knows that he has them over a barrell.

I doubt he's ever felt compassion and is probably a divorcee who couldn't communicate very well with his wife !

Forget about the Greenland deal. There is a more far interesting deal that has just been announced at 18.19 via RNS.

More shares issued under the employees' Share Incentive Plan (SIP). They get this incentive after only three months. How is that a measure of their loyalty?

This is nothing more than an ephing gravy train at our expense and currying favour with the office workers to keep them 'on message'.

This man's insentivity is beyond belief. Time for him to go ... and soon!

What - Greenland deal fell through?

rrrRRRrrr. What happened? You more or less said the deal was "done" subject to inking the contract.Yet we know here it has fallen through(as most of us suspected)

been a reasonably ok day considering Friday's RNS, seems that Greenland deal failing was already priced in. It's extremely disappointing that he dragged out the GL saga for so long, if it wasn't for the poster in LSE re NAMA stake up for sale last week i'm not sure we would have gotten info on this.

AB really needs to get his act together and finally complete on some deals as he has continually failed in this respect, he must know that he can't carry on with this shambolic performance for much longer.

Hopefully some good news on Columbia this week and possibility of new buyers with Greenland in the not too distant future.

Most realistic exit strategy remains to vend it into a junior in return for stock.

I aee that d_s has disappeared into thin air.
No goodbye, no rant at the nasty derampers, no final words of support for fellow holders, and like that.....he's gone, never to be seen again.

No, I'm sure you'll create a justifiable reason in your mind.

Anyway, that aside, keep buying on the dips and support the company at all costs.
While your at it, please please please encourage your colleagues elsewhere to do likewise......and if you could get them to start buying RGM as well, even better.
Not for me you understand.....for the good of the cause.
