oil is out of favour at the moment. JLP has plenty of upside and can multibag from here. JLP will hopefully cover all your losses here.

JLP has NPV more than 2bn with mcap only 35m

Guys can anyone explain as they seem to suggest after ops they will only have £5m:
The drilling program has been executed smoothly, ahead of schedule and
significantly under of budget. Based on a potential estimated total well cost
of USD$25m, Red Emperor expects to retain a cash balance of approximately $12m
AUD (GBP5.66m) after operations are completed. The Company remains focused on
identifying new opportunities while continuing to efficiently manage the
existing assets in its portfolio.

If there's no oil then what are they going to do, pay for more wells to be drilled and waste more money ? Or relinquish the license?Georgia a fail, Puntland a fail, now hawkeye a fail.

New terminology:Rmp "Pumped" and abandoned They should include that in the rns instead of plugged At least IRG do have an OIL discovery in a proven hydrocarbon province with a working oil system

The good old duster news, haven't seen one of these in a while. Oil companies are a total gamble, stick to companies with real assets like JLP.

tidy2, the directors who sold at CEB are leaving, they are no longer part of the plan hence the sale. Doesn't seem to have done CEB any harm this morning(and no, I am not in)

Directors of IRG own 20% of shares. The surveying company for IRG have waivered their 500k exploration bill for a share of the oil discovered. That's confidence in IRG

We all know O&G are very high risk guys but the buzz of pulling it off is very attractive for when it works out. If you have another play coming soon it may be worth holding and seeing a paper loss knowing it will come back. If you take the hit may I suggest a safer play and go for the mining sector. Ceb pulled another shocker on Friday in which I dodged the bullet just in time and loaded up on JLP who awaits a mining license plus more news is also imminent so it has lots of draw. Talking world class and world largest platinum mine. Gla
