Well said Control "this board appears to be one person making out that their opinion is gospel"

Therein lies their modus operandi

Got to agree with simon8, I am recently invested in this but this board appears to be one person making out that their opinion is gospel and the only one that counts and everyone else throwing rocks...

A couple of observations

a). statistically, offshore wells have a significantly higher chance of success than land based drills.

b). re a potential placing, whilst a double event has happened recently (XTR), this is not normal and having just done one at 4p, a repeat at 3p seems unlikely...

We will all know soon enough.

I`m not sure why, but my eyes are very much drawn to this sentence:-

"the single largest oil accumulation discovered in Philippines to date"

Now what is the value on that?

Service Contract 55 – Offshore Palawan
Otto holds 78.18% interest and operator, with Red Emperor  holding 15%
Otto fully funded for drilling of Hawkeye-1 prospect  following successful farm down process and $US24.5m funding from BHP Billiton
Hawkeye-1 prospect to be drilled in Q3 2015. 'Best Estimate' Net Prospective Resource of 89MMbbl
Cinco prospect contains 'Best Estimate' Net Prospective Resource of 1.3Tcf gas and 45MMbl of associated condensate.

Chas thanks. 20p a share will do me.Sock does not have a Scooby doo. 15% of the best estimate above is worth a lot more than £130m.

6 bagger no way... as i said even if they find alot of oil they would not sell it for more than say $200m thats being optimistic which is £130m and only 15% of that goes to rmp so thats 20m market cap is what £13m? so that would be todays share price times 2.5 so at best a 150% rise to say 9p and thats if they find alot of oil so its over priced its as simple as that

listen to our Hawkeye-1 well operator Otto Energy's CEO & MD Matthew Allen explain why

Hawkeye the prefered exploration drill in his own words

" Hawkeye-1 prospect a very large oil target "

"we have a very good chance we have a very material oil discovery here it would be the single

largest oil accumulation discovered in Philippines to date"

and even if we say they find oil and sell it for what? $200, = £130m only 15% of that goes to rmp which is £20m cash that will not see the 10 bagger some are saying keep it real

Sock - how can you make comparisons if as you say no drilling has taken place in the basin?

We can only compare surrounding area's, if we are to make comparisons, surely?

Need a stress ball bud?

3d vs 2d

P45 and 46 consider the increased success due to using 3D seismic vs 2D. Exploration success has increased from 20% with 2D to 50% with 3D for Exploration wells

The estimated commercial success rate for wells drilled with 3-D seismic is 70%, compared to an average success rate of approximately 30%-35% for wildcat wells drilled in Kansas over the past 3 years.
