Yes, surprised at the rise here today. I'm holding ULVR and PZC. ESNT at least 10p above the recent placing price today :-)

I've got FAN on the watchlist but may have missed the best of the recent rise.

“There is . . . evidence that birth rates will be further lowered in coming quarters as a result of behaviour changes related to the pandemic,” Reckitt said. Mr Narasimhan said the group’s baby formula unit would be affected by this trend, which was evident in countries such as the US and China.

Anti-coronavirus measures look set to result in lower rates of cold and flu this winter, which would affect sales of Reckitt’s over-the-counter medicines, a portfolio that includes Mucinex cold and flu medicine. Evidence from Australia and South Africa already pointed to this trend, the company said.

Bit of a disappointing reaction to last weeks results. Always find it strange how few posts we get on here too, big stable fmcg co that has done well this year, almost zero interest.

The Department of Justice’s (“DOJ”) $600 million civil and criminal settlement against Indivior related to marketing the opioid-addiction-treatment drug Suboxone, combined with the prior, larger, $1.4 billion settlement with Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC, Indivior’s former parent company, inked in 2019 yield longer term shareholder standing in potential derivative matters.

These matters seek to enhance corporate governance and go after D&O policies to get funds paid in fines back into corporate coffers. Can also allow for incentive awards to shareholders.

Best,

Josh

Investomania this morning

The share price prospects of Reckitt Benckiser Group Plc (LON:RB) (RB.L), WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC (LON:MRW) (MRW.L) and British American Tobacco plc (LONLBATS) (BATS.L) are relatively mixed in my view.

For instance, Reckitt Benckiser’s share price has surged higher during the Covid-19 pandemic. Demand for its health and hygiene products has increased dramatically, which has boosted its sales and profitability.

This rate of growth may normalise in the short run in my view. However, I think the stock has further growth potential. Its investment in online could pay off in the long run, as consumers are likely to further shift their spending towards e-commerce in my opinion. This could allow the business to strengthen its relationship with consumers and build further brand loyalty.

Even through Reckitt Benckiser’s share price now has a P/E of around 23, I think it could deliver further capital growth in the long run. For me, it is a quality FTSE 100 business that could be worth a rich valuation.

Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC's Lysol Disinfectant Spray has received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency approval for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19.

The EPA said Monday that its approval of the spray and Lysol Disinfectant Max Cover Mist last week represent its first such approvals of surface disinfectants. The Lysol products, popular with consumers seeking to reduce coronavirus risks, were on the EPA's "List N" of products meeting the criteria for effectiveness.

The List N entries for the two items were updated "to show they have now been tested directly against SARS-CoV-2." The EPA said these are the first List N products for which the EPA reviewed laboratory testing data and approved label claims against SARS-CoV-2.

Lysol Disinfectant Spray was tested per EPA guidelines and was found to kill the virus at two minutes of use, Reckitt Benckiser said. The spray was also reviewed in a peer-reviewed study of its effectiveness published in the American Journal of Infection Control, the company said.
