08/5/2014 11:49 | This from the Company's December RNS, about the Birmingham plant and pointing out the same partners and plant being used, "We also welcome recent positive news in the UK biomass sector, in particular the recent announcement by the Green Investment Bank and Foresight Group of the financial close on a 10.3MW GBP47.8m biomass plant in Birmingham using MWH Global as the EPC contractor and Nexterra as the preferred technology provider." | troutisout
08/5/2014 11:42 | Very quiet here, looks like very few people following this, which is good in a way (more time to keep adding). This is a release about the Birmingham Biomass plant being developed by another Company, but using many of the same partners and plant as REAC's Enfield Biomass is due to. "Construction of the UK's first biomass gasification plant fired on waste wood has begun, in Tyseley, Birmingham. It is being built close to Veolia Environmental Services' existing 350,000t/y Tyseley Energy Recovery Facility. The Birmingham Bio-Power plant is being built by engineering firm MWH Treatment on behalf of developer Carbonarius. A consortium led by the UK's Green Investment Bank has invested £48.8m (59m) into the project, which will use a Nexterra Systems gasification system. It will burn about 70,000 tonnes of waste wood, supplied by local firm JM Envirofuels Ltd, to generate 10.3MW of electricity. In addition, advanced Plasma Power has permission to build a 50,000t/y plasma gasification unit in the same neighbourhood, part of an Energy Technologies Institute competition to design and build a highly efficient EfW plant." As far as websites and articles state, REAC are expecting financial close this quarter (Q2 2014) and construction to start later this year, commissioning in Q2 2015 and final takeover of the plant in Q4 2015. Once operational, it is expected to generate £10m with £6m of EBITDA. DYOR, Trout. | troutisout

25/4/2014 16:39 | colp54, I have had a reply from Yellow Jersey, they are acting as the shareholder conduit for the Company. It sounds like they are working hard on improving their communication material (the websites are an example) and 'pushing the strong REACT story to the business and investment press' They are also talking about Management presentations at Investor evenings this year. I would think the main thing here is they need something to work with, something like Enfield financial close, if they can land that then it really will get people to sit up and take note (after all Plymouth is expected to be construction ready by the end of this year, with Clay Cross and Londonderry to come). 25/4/2014 14:25 | I think REACT have a tried and trusted strategy for dealing with inquisitive shareholders... | colp54
25/4/2014 13:11 | Companies hate small investors full of their self importance like trout emailing them every few weeks, adding two and two together and coming up with five! Leave them to do their job | big7ime
25/4/2014 10:57 | Hi Trout They've done a good job with the house style for the two websites. I also see GGES has a twitter feed, although I guess REACT have yet to add one to their website. Will be interesting to see if you get a reply to your email - other than directing you to their RNSs or the website. | colp54

24/4/2014 22:53 | Hi colp54, I emailed the company today, we have seen the new PR company and now the new websites (have you seen the GGES one, it sits well next to the REAC one). I think the delay in securing financial close for Enfield has left them in a void period, once finalised we will see them hit the media and PR trial. They have stated that the Enfield finance model will be used for Plymouth and Clay Cross and I reckon several of the partners will be the same, so they have to get this first one right. Looking forward to seeing Enfield financial close soon and in the meantime the stagnating share price has left chances to add at these reduced levels. Trout. | troutisout
24/4/2014 16:46 | Says the stalker following me onto another thread. No desperation just putting my thoughts down. That's the beauty of ADVFN it allows you some space to post your thoughts and research and I am certainly not forcing anyone to read it, let alone act on it. So if you are not interested in REAC please move along. I am sure we will cross paths on other stocks that we are both interested in.... | troutisout |
