To give the company some context; costs have been cut substantially, a major order was recently announced, clients are renewing contracts and margins are up.

Add to this the current situation and this seems a solid play in present market conditions.

Surprised by today’s fall given the potential number of initial adhoc opportunities and possible new contracts. I’d hope to see this recover as buyers return !

And further details on their deep cleaning services and expertise from their website:

INFECTION CONTROL SERVICE
Infection control sits at the heart of hygiene
Our Infection Control Service is a specialist cleaning and disinfection package aimed at successfully reducing the risk of infections, providing protection against MRSA, Swine Flu, C. difficile and Norovirus.

Infections are one of the biggest challenges facing health services throughout the world. ‘Health care-acquired infections’ (HCAI), which patients or clients develop while receiving care from health services, pose a particular problem. But infection control is vital in other organisations too, such as the veterinary, pharmacy, hospitality, social care and education sectors.

In the period 2014-18, Public Health England (PHE) figures showed a clear trend in increasing winter flu infections, especially in care homes. And in schools, one consideration is transmission of childhood diseases, with a resurgence of measles in certain populations where vaccination has been controversial.

Thorough cleaning is key for infection control
Proper cleaning and hygiene practices are vital in helping to prevent the spread of such infections. But an infection control culture has to be an open and collaborative one. It’s vital that there’s open and honest communication among cleaning staff and between cleaning teams and other staff. That’s where React Specialist Cleaning and our Infection Control Service come into play. We can work to ensure that a proper schedule is maintained – and that facilities are able to prevent infections.

Holding up well in the face of the wider market sell off. Just reviewing their website and came across the following covid-19 blog from a few days ago:

One key measure in the event of workplace transmission will be deep cleaning and disinfection. All surfaces that the symptomatic person has come into contact with must be cleaned. This includes all surfaces and objects which are visibly contaminated with body fluids and all potentially contaminated high-contact areas such as toilets, door handles, telephones. Additionally, all waste that has been in contact with the individual should be double-bagged, and the Health Protection Team will advise next actions.

We’re on hand to help with deep cleaning as part of Covid-19 containment. As the situation develops, we’ll be responding in coming weeks with more information on our blog. So stay tuned – and keep washing your hands and practising good respiratory hygiene in the meantime.

Lowest ask showing is now 0.90p, with 0.8995p being paid, whilst I type.
It's been a long haul back since I bought, but a much brighter future ahead here, I reckon.

thanks chris, I agree with the article and react certainly have the ability and professional knowledge to offer this service. Theres been a bit of interest over the past few days and looks very positive in terms of a price rise. The foundations of the business have also improved so theres certainly scope for a rerate too.

gla and welcome !!

I imagine you guys have been very lonely on here for quite a while. I think this is a great play on the coronavirus but, I admit, hard figures are lacking: hxxps://www.safestocks.co.uk/2020/03/02/react-should-benefit-from-coronavirus-concerns/

'Deep cleaning' is my pet phrase of the month now.

Bucking the trend and staying static is a comforting position with this at the moment. I think deep cleaning capabilities will come into play as increasing requirements take hold...

The REACT specialist cleaning business continues to trade well. In the period since the 30 September 2019 year end, margins and operational efficiency have continued to improve as we maintain focus on quality of earnings and increasing business activity in sectors in which REACT provides the greatest value.

Progress is underpinned by recent contract wins, including the incremental half a million-pound specialist cleaning contract in the rail sector, announced 23 January 2020, and the GBP121,000 deep cleaning contract at a large London hospital, announced 3 February 2020. We are also pleased to report that a 3-year framework agreement has recently been awarded by another existing client, a large housing association in the North West of England.

The Board remains confident that with rationalised infrastructure, a well-motivated management team and a competitive service proposition, we have established a solid platform from which we can now grow and move into a sustainable level of profitability.

Of their decontamination services are required for Coronavirus purposes then we could see a rapid rise perhaps. The only silver lining I can imagine.

I have held this share for years, sold quite a few about 7 years ago, enough to buy a new car, maybe I should have sold the lot and bought a more expensive car.
Basically wrote of my balance.
Nice to see some life and action again
