05/9/2019 14:28 | Another week Montgomery!! | harry_david
05/9/2019 13:59 | September present great, a big buy went thru before 1.5 million shares with no divi. Are Reach in play? | cityconindex
04/9/2019 08:02 | ex div 2.5p tomorrow. | langland
29/8/2019 21:44 | Another week and Montgomery still hasn't done his JP deal. Perhaps he really can't raise the hoosh. Reach may be back in the frame at the right price? | harry_david
22/8/2019 12:04 | Looking good today. | scottishfield
21/8/2019 13:31 | No volume today. | our haven
21/8/2019 13:28 | £2.50 is a figure we will all take. I continued to buy on the way down so sitting pretty now but took nerve. I just believed in the fundamentals whilst acknowledging sentiment.Good luck! | our haven
21/8/2019 13:22 | I agree with you on that point Harry. | our haven
21/8/2019 13:19 | Citycon I am more concerned someone will try and sneak a cheap bid in at £1.50 just when they look like they are breaking through digitally. | harry_david
21/8/2019 12:15 | Harry I thought you always projected patience. Personally I think the best takeover target is Reach itself as it's starting to turn it's USP into cash. Much potential for a buyer. And plenty of assets. £2.50 a share and I am anyones. | cityconindex
21/8/2019 10:47 | Harry. Would you prefer the deal does not go ahead? Maybe he is trying to get the best terms. | our haven
21/8/2019 10:31 | You seem upset, friend. | from8to800
21/8/2019 10:27 | So where is Montgomery's wonderful deal? "Only days away" he said. Perhaps his financiers have worked out he wants to over pay. | harry_david
20/8/2019 08:02 | Next resistance is 100p then 112 which is major, then all the way to 200 are 3 light resistance lines. Outlook is Bullish. When the phone tapping saga is finally closed it may be really positive for the share price | cityconindex
16/8/2019 16:28 | Harry, well if you are right it will highlight the ludicrous valuation RCH. It is baffling to me that anyone would invest in a Montgomery vehicle, when they could invest in RCH, which will give synergy benefits, has experience and knows the industry inside out. The only positives they have is no pension fund and Vijay. Mecom was a disaster. I would be intrigued to see the prospectus of the new company ! | gfrae
16/8/2019 13:49 | gfrae, he will raise the money, pay too much and get JP. Then we will see further proof of his incompetence. Reach after Local World will not get into a bidding battle and hopefully we will then see a real follow through with more mind blowing growth from its digital operations. | harry_david
16/8/2019 12:38 | Starting to look interesting here. | trident5
16/8/2019 11:00 | Reach is in play. Simon and Montgomery with the Financial Director will run the larger company. Chess anyone.? | cityconindex
15/8/2019 17:57 | I will be surprised if he raises money bearing in mind the low valuation of newspaper companies and his appalling record. | gfrae
15/8/2019 11:42 | Does that period include the phone hacking scandal? | smicker
15/8/2019 10:39 | Well worth reading this summary from City AM. A few brief thoughts : "National World will debut on the stock market via the reverse takeover of an existing private company." That makes no sense that would not enable them to debut on the stock market. "Sources said the media boss’s primary target was JPI Media" & "But one industry source told City A.M. that Reach had been “knocked sideways” by Montgomery, who has launched a “relentless pursuit” of JPI." Reach do not need any of the assets of JPI, so hopefully they will be prepared to walk away if the price is not right. However the value of parts of JPI to Reach would be higher than to Montgomery as Reach can (& would) achieve substantial synergies. "Former Reach chief financial officer Vijay Vaghela is also registered as an officer at National World" - A bit worrying,I had a lot of respect for Vaghela in his time with Reach (TNI as was then). | kazoom
15/8/2019 10:27 | TBH i was thinking in terms of the price to be paid for acquisitions if we have a well funded newcomer on the scene. I've no doubt there are moves afoot here alright. | smicker |
