30/8/2018 10:46 | I think AIM investors ideas about BOPD are wildly out of sync with the reality of the oil industry, especially in America. This might be because they're used to deep drill expensive unconventional wells which need X00 barrels a day just to be economical. They don't realise that 'traditional' shallow wells can be economical at far lower flow rates. It's all about setting capex and opex against flow rate, not just headline flow rate in isolation. Depletion rates are also incredibly important. These slow draw wells often go on for years. | simonsaid1
30/8/2018 10:30 | Halifax has always had an issue with classifying rbd no problem on HL | 1bluehorseshoe
30/8/2018 10:28 | Ken Chung, 70bopd from old nodding donkeys is excellent. I hope you realise in large parts of the US, nodding donkeys are commercial all the way down to 5bopd, even lower in some parts of texas. No I'm not kidding, its because the work on them is cheap as chips, as low as $5000 in some cases. Achieving 70bopd that are put onto production is a welcome result. Its cashflow achieved in the most efficient way, all very useful. Cash | cashandcard
30/8/2018 10:26 | 'No flow' while drilling is good. If a well flows during drilling, that is a problem, a 'kick' to be precise, and potentially a blowout. Not good. (Unless you're deliberately drilling underbalanced, which i doubt was the case here) | thamestrader
30/8/2018 10:20 | Correct. Says it no longer trades on this company :( | awise355
30/8/2018 09:59 | WELL DONE TO THE TEAM AT RBD | soultrading
30/8/2018 09:58 | Great to see the business model is proven and finally an AIM company that is actually doing what it said it would and delivering. Very happy to be holding RBD and looking forward to a rosy future. | soultrading
30/8/2018 09:52 | Lol! Do some research. The 4 well work over were just a bonus. The new drills are the important wells as are targeting far bigger resources. The first one is a success and we should get a flow rate soon. | jungmana
30/8/2018 09:49 | Wick will be a failure and the 4 well workovers on California only managed to produce a combined 70 bopd which is minute. wont even pay the new management drinks bill. | ken chung
30/8/2018 09:44 | Few more trades and back to square one... No flow = uncertainty. | alamaison5
30/8/2018 09:12 | I think with at least 2 more wells to be drilled in California in the short term , we could be at 2p+ by the time Wick spuds in early October. Looking good. | jungmana
30/8/2018 09:06 | I did tell you to get in. I like spotting trends, its what I do and you know this mayyyyyn. Non Stop buying now. | trendspotting
30/8/2018 08:46 | Chunkier buys landing now investors. Wave 2 incoming. | trendspotting
30/8/2018 08:40 | Monroe Swell is on the horizon. Also do not overlook WICK and Uplands involvement ( A classy O & G act). A massive 2.4p share price by mid Sept? All in the pipeline and all you have to do is sit and wait. Patience pays. The current share price is just TOO LOW.... Those initial Inst' Investors knew they were onto a good thing with the S & S team. Money makes money... Follow the money...... GLA. | dandadandan
30/8/2018 08:33 | That's exactly the case Simon. We should get an additional well on west Brentwood as looks like they are more than happy with what they've found. | jungmana
30/8/2018 08:29 | It is very interesting that the oil shows from drilling are giving them sufficient confidence to declare it commercial right away. I note the previous producing wells in the same area and same geographical play, which gives huge confidence that the oil encountered in these sands will flow and replenish well. In fact they've not just declared it commercial, they've gone straight to talking about a second drill which was not in the original plans (West Brentwood was a single drill project). What on earth did they find down there? A lake of the black stuff?! | simonsaid1
30/8/2018 08:27 | This well is worth $25m npv to RBD.Now integrity ( the operator) will lower production casing and then start producing. Flow rates should then be available . Up to this stage great success. | jungmana
30/8/2018 08:26 | Next wave is imminent. Get ready with your surfboards. 52 Week high is 1.1p, which was achieved with only WICK and COLTER. Since then we have 5 assets - revenue, cash, a commercial discovery, an mcap of £27m and 5 more drills to come in the 2 next months. Sit back, grab a coffee and watch this go. | trendspotting
30/8/2018 08:21 | Can't buy on Halifax - need to use another broker | croasdalelfc
30/8/2018 08:18 | Are you familiar with oil drilling? This is standard practice. Discover and then test. We should get a flow rate soon and a great success with the drill bit on the 1st well. | jungmana
30/8/2018 08:17 | UKOG also has no flow yet NOR an announcement of discovery and yet has a 127M MCAP. Wait for the herd to clock onto this one. This is not staying at these levels, mark my words. | trendspotting
30/8/2018 08:15 | Lol, no flow, not commercially proven. Nice trap... | alamaison5
30/8/2018 08:12 | It also shows 3D modeling process used it reliable. Good news for next drills, which are based on the same technology | isa2020 |
