Giant

Aviator asked me to set up a thread because he was being pestered by Neil and under the radar I did this was the understanding he would stay off the BOR thread and leave them be, he didn’t and is constantly posting there and so we have Neil over here.

I am not wasting my time and energy trying to resolve petty squabbles on BB’s and then having to constantly police my own thread.

One question re permit. Apparently 10 days left for this well. I presume it's been cleared for longer with sidetrack in mind?

Just a bit of patience Dan. Let's see what sidetrack provides. Am more interested in Kirkham than Cadeby but I guess they have to rule out any more kinder surprises by doing it thoroughly and testing all avenues.

Our boys have said they have found a presence of hydrocarbons , both companies RNS differ anyway.

Personally I agree with you Dan, but nothing surprises me any more.

There is already a major gas find Sir! It's primarily a gas field

If there is/was a major gas find then they would have to release that news, they haven`t, so there isn`t.

This is why I kept adding RBD btw..."Kirkham Abbey formation post drilling of the A-2 well:   Base Case:       – Liquids: 146.4 million barrels ("mmbbl") of oil initially in-place ("OIIP"); – Gas: 211.5 bcf of gas initially in-place ("GIIP")   Upside Case:   – Liquids: 283 mmbbl OIIP – Gas: 265.9 bcf GIIP   Initial petrophysical analysis indicated that the overall hydrocarbon column of 65 metres comprised a gross oil column of approximately 45 metres underlying a gross gas column of approximately 20 metres, all within the Kirkham Abbey interval. Logs and core both suggested encouraging porosity within the oil zone, which additionally appeared to be naturally fractured."

Morning chaps. Good stuff and not a surprise because nothing actually wrong. Management still v happy and they are the ones who really know the business. My take on it is this - they had to test Cadeby first because of pressure, rather than into Kirkham on way down. Now they will probably be cementing the turning area for sidetrack and away we go. Expecting volumes from Kirkham like before and they will do a flow test. (THIS will rocket the sp)Yes the Cos of Cadeby was v low and we knew that. I guess was surprised they released it first but seems there was no other way due to logistics/physics of drilling. (I'm no expert so using logic).I can't see anything wrong which is why I topped up the other day. Onwards....

Don't worry about it too much it will bounce back when the reality sets back in that they will get to it and it's as good as they thought,

you can see they drilled WN B and they knew it wasn't dense, so that's confirmed and now the side track will go at 200 degrees or around there abouts to hit the dense bit of Cadeby by the sounds of it to confirm that density and appraise it.

Three weeks and it should be back where it was or even higher.

Looks like a massive overhang or distressed seller, dumping millions.

Headed for 35, then 30.

Agreed. I don't care about religion or race. Good kind people are good people. Simple!Have you any idea re my question of going for Cadeby first? Only explaination I can think of is mentioned below and they would have lost pressure by sidetracking into Kirkham first. The excitement are the knowns. It's pretty amazing and why I stayed in. I think they are due to flow test this one....correct me if am wrong.
