24/11/2020 14:14 | The WNB-1 well has been drilled safely to a Total Depth of 2,295 metres, encountering both the primary and secondary objectives, the Kirkham Abbey and Cadeby formations respectively. The Kirkham Abbey formation indicated a hydrocarbon charge based on wireline logs, cuttings and mud gas readings. The secondary target, the Cadeby formation contained insufficient reservoir development at this location. The operator has commenced the planned side-track drilling operation from the WNB-1 well and following preparatory engineering exercises the West Newton B-1Z ("WNB-1Z") will be drilling ahead during the next few days. The objective of the WNB-1Z side-track well is to further appraise the Kirkham Abbey formation at a structurally higher location, targeting reservoir with characteristics anticipated to be similar to that at the West Newton A-2 location. The WNB-1Z location is believed to be suitable for a subsequent flow test. The information derived from both the WNB-1 and WNB-1Z wells will provide additional data to inform the optimal locations of future development wells at the West Newton project. The sidetrack will also provide an additional penetration into the Cadeby, which Reabold believes remains a valid target in this location. Drilling activities at the West Newton B site are ongoing and shareholders and the market will be updated following completion of drilling operations and evaluation at the West Newton B site in due course | bad gateway

24/11/2020 13:25 | From what i can gather the side track must be where it splits off from WN B, Where they say it has insufficient reservoir development must be as it's shown hitting a less dense area and is why they say that location, So, from WN A -1 it hits the dense part and is why they say it remains a valid target. Really the outcome should of been already pretty mush established and the result not a surprise, it looks like the side track will be at a steeper angle to try to penetrate Cadeby, not as it's shown on the diagram. So, in a few weeks they could turn round and say we hit and it's as good as we thought, it's just a shame we couldn't get it from WN B as it would of been easier. Does that sound along the right lines. | brut winky
24/11/2020 13:21 | Q They didn’t think they would it anything. On this drill although they have found presence of hydrocarbons, they think they will on the sidetrack though they are trying to find out the optimum drilling target to hit the oil column they have found. | simon_64
24/11/2020 13:13 | thanks brut winky for the slide in post 24. are the private investors asleep here. the sidetrack is on it way back towards to initial huge discovery and therefore the Chance of Success for the sidetrack must be very high. | lw425
