The entire point of RBD is that it is not trying to replicate several small oil companies in many jurisdictions. Rather take a stake and the money its injects gets pre-cashflow assets closer to cashflow or into cashflow ala California.

I think there are many who still don't fully grasp the model here. They are not trying to be another oil smallcap oil minnow - rather an investor in high quality appraisal projects.

Thanks oilbuySound points, not really considered the diverse geographical situation that much.RBD are basically investors , I think, and not Oilers as such. You can see why they wanted to grab a large chunk of WN, whether they've stretched themselves too far only time will tellThanks for your thoughts.

I find it hard to believe that those that chucked £24m at this didn't know what they were doing and were in it to only make pennies.
You don't risk that amount of money on a whim.

Not sure what is happening myself. All very strange that with the recent news this has dropped below the placing price.
The credibility of all concerned would be damaged beyond repair if those figures are out by any margin.

I don't believe management understand the fundamentals of a listed entity. I think the company is too young to start taking excessive stakes in projects without cash flow which covers day to day expenses Patience makes money. Projects in 3 or 4 different Countries , very difficult to run unless you have lots of money and an upskilled work force and even then will face monumental challenges. The oil/ mining industry in particular. The operator always holds the purse strings.Production and lifting costs , thats the key to any solid growth. Otherwise its just institutional churn.

I don't know if the protests by ER and others the WN and the planning time re Wressle play any part in the fall here. The oil is then and I can't believe it won't be extracted.Or is it just there's a few big sellers about desperate to get out?Longer term looks a good buy.

The whole mechanics of this stock has been eroded, due to excessive dilution which in general is not understood by the management of theses companies on the AIM market. Crawl before you can walk , I say. Retail investor always gets bummed. 1.6 / 1.70 was the time to sell. Period.
