An update this morning on the Mica-1 appraisal well on the Iecea Mare licence on shore Romania. A number of Pannonian reservoirs have been intersected with hydrocarbon shows. Although it is early days, the fact that there are indications of oil and gas with maybe liquids in the deeper gas targets makes this well highly encouraging and also for the ongoing prospectivity of the block. Now, indications of liquids in the deeper gas targets, where have I heard that before? Reabold shares are down this morning, a mis-reading by the market if ever I saw one…

Thought we would hit 1.4p+ today, although gas looked nailed the potential oil was definitely not expected.

Yes, can't deny S&S positivity and enthusiasm for this first well, Iecea Mica 1 well..And their feeling that there is oil at the next level..

So looking forward to further updates and a successful oil find ...fingers crossed.

Stephen Williams, Co-Chief Executive Officer, commented:

iLeeman. I think they are keeping a low profile while West Newton is tested. Keep the protesters at bay which is very wise. It also allows others who have researched to build a good position.

Great stuff, gas shows and positive news on possible oil.

New all time highs will be broken Tuesday you would think 1.4p+.

RBD is still very quiet despite the huge success it has had over last 12 months or so I wonder with Parta coming in and West Newton looking promising if this company will finally start seeing the herd arrive....

Yes,it looks that there may be new “ material “discoveries below 2600m.Note the use of “exciting “ in relation to what’s below 2600m.We will know in the next 9 days as the Parta story unfolds...

Hope all is well buddy.

Looking forward to both West Newton and Parta update.

Based on the last RNS, Parta update on first target horizon is very close. They should be into the gas zone by now and we have their Ozzy partners updates to look forward to while we have our bank holiday. Hoping its a success.

Not trying to be smart and its not nit-picking - its an important point - of course failures happen. But you think a manager of an AIM company's track record does not matter? Your quoting DB here on RBD, I'm just pointing out who he is, I was a shareholder in Hawk, that's my right. We all know he is subject to AIM regulations and we all know the potential here is massive.

The important point here is Rathlin are the operator not UJO. You missed the very first sentence of my post. The horses mouth is Rathlin, not UJO, wells results will come from Rathlin. Rathlin will make its findings known to UJO. RBD are a shareholder in Rathlin and have director on the board of Rathlin so in a superior position to know and be 'accurate' with their data, because its almost certainly coming from the Rathlin guys, not UJO or Chrisoil or anyone else.
