Although it is definitely good news it's not in effect until confirmation at the GM so to be expected really peeps. Hell of a Q3 to come for RBD all this trivial irritation will be long forgotten.

Dissapointing finish considering how good the news was, think we are just looking at a delayed reaction to all this good news. 0.7p getting closer and closer to breaking and then we can see this trade towards 1p.

Near term cashflow and potential $235million NPV added.

Value will prevail eventually, it always does.

Don't forget that the share price was also lower, not so long ago.
Therefore one wants to cash up, which is understandable. As soon as the seller is gone the better...

Yep definitely frustrating and market still doesn't appear to be 'getting it' here. Conference tonight will help, and Malcy will be doing a followup I believe.

Ultimately a certain portion of AIM investors won't get involved till there's drilling activity, but that is now very near-term. The first to spud is not the biggest, so I'm not overly fussed, but the important thing is by the end of this year we'll have had a significant number of drills, I believe it's 6 now? Crazy.

I do hope so. Had a very poor few weeks, saw the rns this morning and thought 'here we go' and we haven't. Always another day. Added a few this afternoon.

Frustrated, why? This is only the start of a long journey. Wait for the first results and your impatience will disappear...

The two wells are committed at $1.3m each . The rest are not committed and will be paid from cash flow .Add in the workover expense and it looks like only 3m pounds spent (4m Dollars)Leaves 5m pounds in the kitty

Just watched the brrmedia broadcast.

Great news and the lads look excited about their future. Give youth a chance and they will shine.

They are catching some nice winning investments and are already looking for more $$$$$ earning opportunities for their bank cash pile.

The City will be taking notice of these two very soon, IMO.

Get in early before RBD take off.

New broker forecast is now at 2.5p per share.

This is going to be heading North soon.

Touched on delay on getting asset - Basically saying they wanted to get the best deal.

Cashflow in California - 'Extremely quick, talking weeks not months'

It didn't proceed because state investors didn't cough the cash. The board then sought damages from investors.

Clear the last of the 0.7p sellers and then hopefully we can finally break this range we have struggled to break out of for almost 6 months. Big move when it does.

Share price will have to start pricing in all this good news + build into their multiple drills.

So you think they were involved in the previous approach? I wonder why it didn't proceed? Good for us if a genuine reason but have to be curious eh?

This sounds like S&S:For this initial transaction, Xstate has carefully structured the transaction as a phased investment, based on an initial acquisition followed by the funding of a series of work?over, appraisal and development drilling options. Over a 2 year period Xstate intends to secure a production asset base with substantial behind pipe reserves and then drill undeveloped reserves that can be bought to production quickly thereby achieving economies of scale and increasing field profitability per barrel. This strategy enables Xstate access to immediate production and a substantial proven undeveloped (PUD) reserves portfolio with the flexibility to drill additional wells during improving oil price conditions. Thus reserves are secured at low operating cost taking advantage of the prevailing low drilling cost environment.

Great find Croasdalelfc. Well done.

ASX is on the menu and some reworks using newer technology will produce some nice big profits for RBD.

This gets better every day...
