03/3/2022 09:53 | Buy then! It's bullish, not bearish. | wigwammer
03/3/2022 09:03 | Coal price has gone through the roof | ntv
02/3/2022 17:17 | price action starting to become absurd considering prevailing cpo prices... | foxfox79
28/2/2022 08:20 | I can understand why people who joined the party very recently are disappointed. I'm over the moon about the price action over the last 6 months :) | wigwammer
27/2/2022 15:06 | thanx nobull, price action is still very disappointing. The coal interests surely will be recovered now, cpo sky high, i think we are set for the next leg up in stock price. | foxfox79
24/2/2022 10:32 | 18:10 today in KL | nobull
24/2/2022 08:44 | Front month up 400 ringgit a tonne to 6910. However, I understand we have to have a permit to export now, and the permit application form probably asks questions on how much CPO one is going to supply the domestic market - only tiny amounts allowed to be exported? Foxfox79, I believe metallurgical coal commands a better price than thermal for its higher carbon content. I believe it was $239 a tonne yesterday. I don't know how the JORC reserves definition works, but you maybe have to have sustained high prices, so that reserves really are economically feasible to extract - maybe long term price movements can change reserves even if the amount of physical coal thought to be in the ground stays the same. Re-reading the last trading update more carefully, it looks like our BoD is happy to get its loans repaid by selling the coal rather than the mine. | nobull
22/2/2022 08:30 | CPO close to 60k | ntv
05/2/2022 11:08 | Probably not JORC | ntv
05/2/2022 11:04 | Presentation 2018: Open cast coal mining: Kota Bangun concession with 2 million tonnes of nearmetallurgical coal Why is in the recent update no mentioning of these reserves, but only of the 400K? Anyone know what spot prices are for this kind of coal? | foxfox79
03/2/2022 18:06 | Like you say nobull, it very difficult to judge/guess EPS because of the leverage and accounting treatments of different items Also how the latest Indonesian government rhetoric/laws are affecting prices of CPO that the main 3 CPO companies (listed on LSE) receive? Surprising MEP not made a statement as they talk far more than the other 2 | ntv
02/2/2022 18:32 | From the absolute bottom yes, but with these cpo prices it should be at 200 pence minimum. I hope this is just a temporary pause on the way up, but i don't expect much when they report for 2021. I hope robinow sells the company, like nbpo a couple years back, the man is 77j old.. | foxfox79
02/2/2022 15:07 | Not quite sure if any back payments of pref divi will have any effect on profit/loss as I presume these have already been taken into account | ntv
02/2/2022 12:16 | Millgate prices are over $1000 now till the Indonesian government raise taxes | ntv
02/2/2022 10:29 | "Disappointing price action considering the sky high CPO prices.." ??? .. the ords are up 130% in 4 months!! | wigwammer
01/2/2022 19:36 | From the latest trading update I have done a couple of calculations on revenue and come up with a figure close to $200m This compares with revenue in 2020 of $140m This equates to an increase of approx 43% I know this won't filter straight through to the bottom line but a hefty chunk will More important is the cashflow coming from the increased cashflow allowing the company to invest in its' own infrastructure and plantations Not sure if restructuring costs fully went through first half figures but certainly there looks there will will strong positive earnings per share maybe even well into double figures Re Coal It would be a bit of strange one if the legal battle over the coal rights were only over 400,000 tons considering the fees involved. As there are no official JORC figures I guess they can't make a shot in the dark number from a legal point of view | ntv
01/2/2022 16:40 | Disappointing price action considering the sky high CPO prices, makes me wonder what the share price will do when the inevitable fall sets in. Spot prices now above reference surely must translate in nice margins.. The reserves of the south pit seem paltry at 400000 tons. Don't see much of a catalyst here. Any thought on the reserves? I wonder on what the 30M they lent out is spent.. | foxfox79
29/1/2022 10:17 | lol, nobull. With the rising share price I would have thought you could afford Youngs. | ntv
28/1/2022 10:26 | Feb CPO futures 5,810 ringgit this afternoon in KL. Surely, that's getting on for $1,500 CIF Rotterdam. Presumably it's because we aren't allowed to get that price. I'd better buy my Lidl's battered cod before the price goes up (contains palm fat!). Crikey! | nobull
27/1/2022 17:31 | re coal interests 30k tons per month Taking a $90 per ton as the profit margin Base on the 70/30 margin that give a cash inflow of roughly $1.9m so on an anualised basis that is debt repayment of around $22.5m That will lead to a very helpful pay down of monies owed | ntv
27/1/2022 08:39 | The trouble is by controlling the domestic price as they are, they will create a large black market for export of cooking oil Mind you the export price of CPO is climbing very rapidly again today | ntv
25/1/2022 17:03 | I may have been over excited about extension planting. I now see they only aim to do it! Fingers crossed. | nobull
25/1/2022 16:29 | The mill damage might account for some shortfall as having to move crop around in wet weather would have been difficult Hopefully with the stoning of roadways will lead to some good saving on transport costs. As you say no coal export ban is going to make for larger profit margins hence hopefully faster loan repayment which is very good news | ntv |
