RBG just had a fine Xmas party. Legal 500 ratings fine. Staff fine. Clients fine. Billings fine. Share price... mysterious.

Problem is Shep I don't think you're credible. You have an axe to grind for whatever reason and will say anything to damage sentiment.

My dear Scuba, the "Threat" of being taken private is non existant. This business is facing failure for the reasons I have referred to in my postings from the beginning.

I presume you're alluding to the threat of this being taken private? Jon was asked this at an Investor meet company presentation and stated categorically that the plan was to remain listed for the long-term. That said, you'd hardly expect him to say otherwise, would you? His buy of 100,000 @ c. 17p can only be seen as a token buy and who knows if he financed that himself? I was lured into buying into the story initially knowing that the previous CEO had significant skin in the game, it now transpires that she was given that stake at the IPO. I sold the majority at a loss but still hold a little due to the historic metrics and the hope that they will return, pay down debt and then all shareholders will be rewarded. There's clearly significant risk here. A more significant buy though from Jon would help alleviate my concerns as to who will be the ultimate beneficiary. A sad and expensive mistake on my part, believing in what seemed such a promising opportunity for PI's.

Crikey, stopped tracking this a long time ago but just happened to notice the share price now. Was a former holder way back and shocked how this has plummeted - the partners can't be too pleased!

Would be a warning of profit? :)

Rumours of a profit warning on the way.

I was, perhaps too subtly, agreeing with quepassa’s opinion that I have nothing original to add to my post of 1st Sept. No-one has.

He also said"You have become very tiresome indeed" and that "most of your posts are full of woeful inaccuracies"It's hard not to agree

I refer to my post of 1st Sept 23. Quepassa said I have nothing original to add. I agree. All depends on how much the auditors write down the FY23 intangible assets, and HSBC reduce their 24 loan support.

Sorry to disagree but some people do know something when predicting a market.

And I also disagree that the shares are underpriced now.

I thought the shares undder priced then and think them under priced now. Just my opinion. As I said, nobody knows anything when predicting a market, in this the case that the ex CEO would collapse the price by dumping 12m shares. I remain of the view that they don't miss her.

hmmm......

...but you also penned this post number 909 on 9th. February this year:-

" Nobody knows anything as always, but at 50p this now looks very cheap. Unless the Y/E results show revenue has collapsed - and there seems to be no sign of that - surely has to be a v strong buy? Certainly can't think they'll be missing the CEO on her performance."

Shep does seem to have an axe to grind. I'm also a partner. From my perspective, we are a happy crew, and EXTREMELY busy.

Let's stick with the facts, at the time of the acquisition of MC in April 2021 the firm had 29 partners and 66 other fee-earners, of these, 19 partners and less than 50 fee earners remain.

I am a legacy MC partner and for the record last time I checked only 1 of the top 7 fee earning partners has left - it’s time Shep stopped spreading disinformation

The law firm Rosenblatt was made up of a group of mediocre lawyers led by the bombastic Ian Rosenblatt who charged clients ridiculously high rates. This formula no longer works, clients have left the company. In the case of MC, the high fee earners have walked taking with them their clients. Both of these scenarios have created a huge drop in revenues. The company has taken on six aditional senior lawyers at significant cost without the workload to go with them.

It doesn't please me. I am sorry for your losses.

However, the morale of the story is that it can be useful to listen to and weigh up other points of view.

I don't think my posts could be described as ramping. All my posts have been my honest assessment. I did think 50p was a good price, and I bought. I believed the elephantine cases were worth considerably more alone. Since then we have learnt differently and we are where we are. I'm extremely disappointed with communications and have lost money I can't replace. No doubt this will please you.

Scuba,

Early this year you were posting/ramping that at 50p this share represented good value

Price today c. 19p.

Ask them - You allude to knowing the company. Post what you find out so we can make informed decisions. But why keep posting here with the sole intention to damage sentiment and create fear?
