05/1/2021 11:29 | And yet it continues to report significant growth - thus your judgement seems flawed. My guess is that you were part of the case you mentioned and that Rossenblatt were unable to meet your unreasonable expectations | scubadiverr
05/1/2021 11:13 | It is relatively straight forward, the law firm element which is 80% of the business is wrongly positioned in the market place. It simply does not have the grade of lawyer required to participate in the sector (Big ticket litigation) it is aiming for. It will take many months to refocus the business towards a lower tier (Which will be more competitive) and certainly not achievable during the first half of 2021. | bob evans1
02/1/2021 10:33 | I'm not entirely sure, but I guess it relates to this: hxxps://www.scottish As my entire knowledge of this matter starts and ends with this article, I'm perfectly willing to be corrected (really can't be bothered to look into the legalese any further), but going by this I'm really not sure the blame can be placed on Rosenblatt. As an aside, perhaps driven by the feeding-trough of compensation for mis-sold mortgages and PPI (I'm pretty damn sure most of the claimants knew full well what risks were involved when they signed up), it seems to be increasingly common that investors expect to have their cake and eat it, rather than accept that investing in shares comes with an inherent risk of loss. CD Project Red seem to be the latest company facing a mass action lawsuit by butt-hurt investors irate at the possibility of actually losing money on their investment. | indigocarmine
01/1/2021 22:32 | Please elaborate. The case you speak of was back in 2018 according to the article below. Looks like Pre IPO so struggle to see your perspective from the article from information available and relevance to business. I'm guessing you were part of the case? | scubadiverr
01/1/2021 22:05 | Hi Bob, Can you elaborate on the RBS story? This is the only article I can find and it looks to prefigure any negatives: | simon gordon
01/1/2021 21:17 | I am negative on Rosenblatt the law firm, their stitch up of the RBS Shareholders Group was truly appalling and has left a sour taste. Little prospects of growth on the legal services front as the firm is seen as inept and shoddy in its handling of corporate cases, this is clearly going to prevent any big ticket stuff which is the sector the firm aspires to. My shareprice forecast is 40p by 1 July. | bob evans1
31/12/2020 18:13 | Looks a nice mix of businesses and growth by cross selling. Cheap as well - looking for a quick 50% in the next few months. | yellowdog
30/12/2020 15:40 | Solid and steady buying here. Some chunky trades - insiders getting a piece pre update? | greenhat2
24/12/2020 10:58 | LIT have a seller as well ... Miton. 17/12 Holdings RNS showed they had reduced by circa 50% ... today LIT popped. We'll have our day in the sun perhaps starting with Jan update. ATB. | flagon
24/12/2020 10:45 | And still no movement. Any read across from k3c is limited but should suggest something positive. | its the oxman
04/12/2020 16:15 | Is it just the usual AIM dearth of news as well as a seller? TU months away but the market wants some reassurance before then. Whether it gets it or not will determine the share price direction imo but either way it probably won't be much without concrete news. | paleje
03/12/2020 16:34 | Good luck OX. This reminds me recently of EPIC - Ediston Property a very conservatively run REIT. Recently news on rent collections were improving - 93%+ rent due was collected. They are focused on retail parks as well which were doing just fine ... yet the share price was 50p where it yielded 8% with a constant seller sat on the bid. Then a +ve RNS on 29/10 ... seller gone. Hopefully the same scenario will play out here. ATB. | flagon
03/12/2020 13:15 | Bit the bullet and added a few more today. Fingers crossed. | its the oxman
03/12/2020 10:09 | Yes, agree, just can't figure why there is such a willing seller at this level. | its the oxman
03/12/2020 09:41 | Have taken a large position over the last few days. Other than there being a seller I can't see why the share price is this low. Results/TUs from other quoted legal entities have been strong ... GTLY, KGH & INCE for instance. According to Digital Look forecasts for 2021 are 6.52p EPS giving a PE of 9.2 with a yield of 6.5% ... LionFish (litigation finance division) ... possible special dividends in the future if they hit a home run. Trading update in Jan. GLA | flagon
03/12/2020 09:14 | Still no movement. All very odd. Sitting tight and waiting for the explosion (upwards-hopefully). | its the oxman
24/11/2020 18:48 | It's frustrating but markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent as the saying goes. I've read all the publicly available information and webcasts and see no reason why this shouldn't have lifted with the rest of the market and will continue to be patient as think better times are around the corner. I much prefer the businesses that make up RBGP than KC3. I read an article in the FT earlier today about the proposed revised CGT and the number of directors and business owners who are wanting advice on selling shares and full businesses before March. This is likely to be lucrative for both RBL and Convex. Also the reason why I think K3C has again seen a nice rise today. K3C has been known by the market for selling businesses for some time, Convex has only very recently being taken out of private ownership and has yet to make its name with PIs. I years to come I think we're going to look back and wonder how we bought such a good business for so little. I'm still a believer, the current share price doesn't tell us anything other than the markets are irrational. I think we knew that already | scubadiverr
24/11/2020 17:01 | K3c moving nicely , rbg obviously not similar enough to get any interest. | its the oxman
23/11/2020 16:27 | Persistent selling. 59 p bid. Got this wrong possibly or does someone know something perhaps. | its the oxman
16/11/2020 19:27 | Couple of other ignored stocks I bought riv and rm popped today. Same here soon. | its the oxman
15/11/2020 13:27 | Can't be many share which haven't budged a penny this past week. Not sure what it's gonna take to jump start rbg. | its the oxman
12/11/2020 08:26 | Yes it was a superb investment over at MANO, but effectively it was already known because the result was already included in the H1 results as an unrealised gain. And now we know that those results benefited from a single large case result, which may raise additional questions. | tradertrev
12/11/2020 07:58 | Stunning Update/RNS today from peer sector champion, Manolete Partners Plc. No old bull in that announcement. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
11/11/2020 11:19 | Missed that - thnx | scooper72 |
