I'm not surprised that it's likely to be oversubscribed, and it will be interesting if /how they look after allocations to smaller (and probably more genuine) investors over financial institutions.

"The Raspberry Pi IPO could see the company given a market capitalization of £540 million ($686 million) amid speculation that shares may be priced around £2.80 ($3.56).

According to reports, the IPO is set to raise £179 million ($228 million) from the IPO, which will give the company a valuation of circa £540 million ($686 million). The pricing would be would be at the top end of its range, according to terms seen by Bloomberg.

Reports have also noted that the deal is oversubscribed "by multiple times."

Trading is expected to start on June 14."

Nothing new in Lex column tbh. Best spend a bit of time reading the prospectus as this gives a good insight into how the business model has changed in the last 2 years and what key drivers are.

Backed by ARM, Cambridge is a pretty good place to have in common. I live near Cambridge and know the store in Grand Arcade. (First floor if anyone is in Cambridge and wants to have a look.)

Always youngsters in the store which is a good sign in their market. Christmas presents for techy kids.

Not sure what the point is of the IPO but I will take a punt. They won't be another ARM (or NVidia!) but they will get publicity in this market.

Edit: the Lex opinion piece linked in the FT Archive answers my doubt about what the IPO is for. Worth reading: hxxps://archive.ph/EAO2j

Thanks StrollingMolby.
I've put some funds across family PFs now. We've not had a Tech IPO here for a while so happy to support RPI. The FT video is a really interesting watch.

Think I missed out as can't get cleared funds in time for the ipo but will probably buy once conditional trading starts. Nice to see UK based tech company listing in the UK.

The link is correct but there's a load of html after it.

I've put an application in, a good British tech company, hopefully appropriately priced.

And we have two Raspberry Pi 3s.

I expect the coming set of inflation figures to jump, due to the courts decision in favour of Levi, that grey goods can only be sourced from within the EU itself.

- does anyone have any idea of the weighting these items have on the RPI figures?
