From WH Ireland research note..

REM has managed to maintain momentum and gain funding for its projects. Crucially it still has cash to advance its share of the projects and is gaining some strategic global investors as the $3.6m investment from the USA in February and the $15m Iskander convertible loan in August show. Crucially it is still searching for projects and despite the rapidly growing numbers of projects worldwide seems to be recognising projects of real potential – we particularly note the investment in Macarthur Minerals in Australia, which is a growing hard rock lithium-tantalum metallogenic province.

We maintain our Speculative Buy recommendation supported by a maiden price target of 0.9p. REM’s project holdings are advancing rapidly and news flow from three of its participations in projects (either at TopCo and/or project level) will drive the share price over the short term: Sonora; Cinovec and Yangibana.

So today in lithium stocks REM is showing modest gains around 2.5%, Bacanora up around 5%, and EMH has lost nearly 5%. Meanwhile the Global X lithium ETF is slightly down, but consolidating modest gains from the summer. Another day of WTF in lithium!
