12bm,another stalker scared of the truth. This share will go go sub-0.5p and maybe sub-0.4p imo. Why? REM has no income, so how will it fund itself and its mining obligations? Will REM use a magic wand or do several more BIG placings? My guess is PLACINGS! (Datait thinks the 'magic wand' is the answer) :)

The 'hot money' traders drove the share price up but where are they now? They are not buying REM,that is for sure! Only the numpties like DimTit are still holding this now,watch it fall! The share price of 'hot trader' stocks always fall after the smart money exits.

simonsaid, you know most successful investors do you? I'm sure they do what they tell everyone they do. Many successful investors will research and buy for the long haul, then again they often have a stop loss too, because they know they get it wrong.
There are many ways to use a chart, wether it's timing a buy or sell.
You can't make a blanket statement about charting, I suspect every hedge fund relies on a chart to a greater or lesser degree.

Not really the place for this debate, and I respect clever mathematics, but most seriously successful investors research companies, take advantage of market situations and correctly predict the future of companies/markets/people. They don't make bit bets based on pure, uncontextualised maths. It's the same reflexive, reactive logic behind those 'Bible Code' people (researchers using their method, as you may have read, found 'predictions' of 9/11 in Harry Potter among other things), with the same severe confirmation bias.

If it's working for you and you're making money, great - but I don't trust the messy real world to fall into line with numerical 'predictions'. Please don't think me intransigent - I have no emotional stock in this distinction and am happy to be reasoned into changing my position. Perhaps not on this poor BB, though - apologies to everyone for going off-topic.

simonsaid1, if you had traded something as simple as a 6 period crossing a 20 period on a daily over the last 4 years here you would of done quite well. News often gets signalled in a chart before it gets made public. If you were trading that simple cross you would still be long today.

Very similar to Amur Minerals, a massive rise from 6p to 42p then back down to 6p.

It seems to me what is going on the sudden rise in the share price pulls in the small private investors while allowing the big boys to sell at a huge profit, leaving the small PI to nurse their wounds of massive losses.

In my good opinion at best REM is only a share to trade in and not an investment until some of the companies they are invested in actually start to get the Lithium out of the ground which will not be for at least another couple of years or so.

A few days of consolidation i guess but the uptrend will continue imo. The future is positive for REM so just have to accept the status quo here. Also why deramp a share unless you want to buy in at a lower level or are shorting. Very risking shorting if even possible with this share. Am expecting the uptrend to continue very soon
