£1 by Christmas, revision to a possible £1 by the end of next week. About a 10% rise with no real volume???

All I can say, lucky I've held on and haven't sold any of my holding in Rank, but still some way to go for break-even.

hope you had a good trip griz , I just got back from los last week , travelled Etihad for first time , was quite happy with the service.

Can't blame Guid for cashing in a bit , but since I've had these weldeed to my side for so long I am reluctant to let them go , bad investment practice for sure.

Just a thought on the the recent uptick , I wonder if there may be a bit of leakage about the VAT refund and a few of "the boys" getting in early , seems volumes are a bit better last few days

Yup we sure have suffered ...but not as much as if we had held shares in the financials thank God. Cant blame u Guid for offloading a chunk after this comeback. I am sure you wont be alone.

But yesterday Rank still blue in a sea of red and the uptrend channel is still intact.

Would like to see 100p Logan but I think this will only happen if we see a bid materialise from Guocco or the ftse 250 keeps om climbing as it has. Heading now into October which has often proved to be a problem month.

I seem to recall we have an interim management report on 4th Oct and this will have a baring on the share price. Lets hope the company is continuing to make good progress.

well i've sold quite a chunk - i'm just tired of it moving up and then going down again - at least now the long term trend seems up, might buy again if it goes down a bit. we have suffered a lot on rank haven't we grrr.

ebit is £80m minus H.O.(£18m) and interest (£11m), giving c. £50m pbt = 125pps should get it [sold].

Hi there Logan - pleased to see that you are still with us and enjoying a break in Russia with your family. Never been there myself, but if it stays that warm I might give it a try!

I am leaving England again tomorrow for the rice fields of Thailand, then back for a month over Christmas. Anything to avoid the British winter.

Good to hear you are ok and still onboard.

Hi Grizzly - I have been North for the past month. Not to Scotland but to St Petersburg in Russia.

On the 2nd September at 20.00 in the evening after taking my son ice skating it was still 28C!!! (20C in the summer is considered hot in St Petersburg) Now we know where the British summer went. And just to think in only 5 weeks from that date usually sees the first snow falls of the winter.
