03/7/2023 15:06 | Services like foreign exchange?Or selling jewellery at a sensible price that people want to purchase?Or services previously provided by dodgy loan companies that have been forced out of business by the regulator..Jet2 results out on the 6th - should give a fair read across to Ramsdens Forex business... | tp6
29/6/2023 08:18 | I feel sorry for people. These services like Ramsden come into play at difficult times. IMO | hazl
29/6/2023 08:18 | I thnk we a ought to be concerned when the Fed says that the biggest banks can weather a severe recession. Not for the company but people's circumstances, I might add. | hazl
25/6/2023 14:29 | So really.....both are good! 8-) | hazl
25/6/2023 13:18 | Some comment in last Wednesday telegraph. Questor tipped H and T a while back, they use Ramsdens as a useful comparison.?Ramsdens flagged record profits from its jewellery, retail and foreign currency operations, while a 29pc increase in the pawnbroking loan book was further evidence of the need for the Middlesbrough-headqu | tp6
22/6/2023 13:21 | Well, that is where reasonably you'd expect any buy orders to be. | farnesbarnes
22/6/2023 11:31 | Another sea of blue but the share price drops again. The MMs seem determined to fill that gap. | bigal47
21/6/2023 10:32 | Sadly for the UK times are tough. These kind of companies will be used even more as times get worse are my expectations. Difficult times, but RFX ought to be better in a recession, than some. IMHO | hazl
20/6/2023 06:05 | Oh excellent he seems to be quite good from memory. | hazl

14/6/2023 13:18 | It's only a slight reduction in Otus shares. | hazl
09/6/2023 17:52 | H and t have similar offering, been around a bit longer but not as nimble as Ramsdens. Digital offering not as good, slow to pick up on forex. They both buy up up smaller pawnbrokers as they become available.. https://www.yorkshir | tp6
09/6/2023 11:54 | se81 mentioned Naked Trader. Thanks to NT I jumped in here twice below 220. Sold this week at 260 with a £250 profit. I'm not a trader but there's a gap needs filling around 250 when I hope to jump in again with a much bigger sum and sit tight. This company looks to have a huge future. After many years of misery with WSG this business is a breath of fresh air. | bigal47
09/6/2023 07:25 | Naked trader buying Ramsdens "I also added to Pawnbroker Ramsdens. A very good quality company which always looks underrated. A superb statement this week has seen some new buyers come in. I am wondering whether its rival H and T would be tempted for a bid here given H and T is much bigger and they are similar businesses. Or maybe competition wise that wouldn't be allowed, ignore me just rambling thoughts." Not massively insightful! | se81
08/6/2023 18:48 | I don't intend to write much on this particular billboard, as the company will do fine on it's own merits....just couldn't help popping in before the results because they were clearly going to be good. However I will continue to enjoy my shares . | hazl
08/6/2023 18:39 | Yawn. Yump the chump . Complete arrogance as ever. Pity your amazing skills and knowledge aren't helping you in FDBK. You are my now on my ignore list. Different to filter I might add. | hazl
08/6/2023 18:18 | Without any stats. they are all meaningless. If you choose to splash bits of snake oil around, then expect ridicule. There is enough ignorance around without knowingly adding to it. In terms of charting, if you actually bothered to note the more supposedly significant movements, the upward curve of the upper and lower trendlines that has been happening, at least gave some evidence that RFX was creating increasing investor confidence. It was curving up, not just linear. The rise off 210p jumped the lower trendline in place since the 2020 lows. | yump
08/6/2023 16:18 | Oh well, if I take it as a genuine question, if you look at the 3yr chart in the header that to me, shows 3 or 4 'w' patterns that were followed by rises. I am no chartist , but I have noticed little patterns over the years, that I pay more heed to than I did. Sure, they don't all work out but enough for me, to be interested. Of course it's just minor and fundamentals and macro are far more important. This is what makes it interesting and just adds to the decision. | hazl
08/6/2023 13:49 | I knew you'd be rude to me in the end and spoil sentiment. Just because you don't understand some technicals don't take it out on those that do! What a pity we are in some of the same stocks sometimes. | hazl
08/6/2023 10:22 | A nice little mover. | solarno lopez
08/6/2023 09:04 | 'The highly diversified financial services group posts record numbers after demand for alternative finance takes off' June 7, 2023 | hazl
08/6/2023 07:53 | Certainly a good 'w' on the chart interceptor2. So it bodes well. IMO | hazl
07/6/2023 16:45 | Maybe any stale bulls are long gone but it is just human nature that investors that bought in on a high in 2020 or this year will wait until they can sell at breakeven or a small profit, some people hate taking a small loss until they reach there uncle point. Hopefully these sellers are done now. | interceptor2
07/6/2023 15:43 | Looks like we will have a very solid end to the day | solarno lopez |
