there was no drop today, as yesterday closing bid-ask price was 225-230, same as now. Yesterday closing price (240) was misleading, it's happening often here and other small caps! |
Anyone seen a reason for todays drop |
Reinvest in the business to grow?!
Thats almost American. |
Great fish & chips too... |
Good solid presentation and there is more than enough to believe this will be another strong year. The strong gold price is a positive along with some online progress. There is a question as to whether they should buy back shares given the low rating but they feel investing in the business is the best way forward. |
Simon Thompson has given this a good review in I/C |
Must be worth a p/e over 10 surely ! |
Panmure Liberum raises their target price from 305p to 320p (+35% upside at todays price) |
...yes, I couldn't agree more, while being under the radar, I think. |
The results are very pleasing, a company whose business model has sustainability |
Good results and this one continues to deliver under the radar still I think. |
That’s a strong set of results across all major metrics particularly in this market and a good spread of risk across all key businesses (pawnbroking, precious metals, jewellery and watches). I like the fact that RFX still remains relatively under the radar for investment opportunities and just gets on with growing the business and increasing the dividend. |
Turnover up - Profits up - Should be a blue day today. |
Likely being pushed higher with gold price. All looking good here |
This is more like it. Happy days! |
Not sure what was in the Budget to excite today's feeding frenzy but sure hope we can retain those gains and move on up (as Curtis Mayfield once sang) |
Double bottom at 220 |
A clever PE house |
From who ? |
This one may certainly become a bid target. |
Downing Fund reduce holding from 10.2% to 9.9%.. |
obviously been a big seller behind the scenes. Just seen 262,100 shares go through at mid point (trader to trader), hopefully clear up the overhang.. |
crazy eh? Just the markets atm. Probably drift lower as well |
Why tf is this down on that update |
You can buy now at £2.01/share. Market cap is £64m. Not sure what cash is, but with £11m profit, its ludicrously cheap. And 10.4p dividend is 5.2% yield. I guess private investors just running scared of Autumn statement and possible withdraw of IHT exemption status... However can't see this affecting RFX long term, steady growth strategy in pawnbroking and high gold price.
Perhaps BoD will have a share buyback planned if Reeves does assault AIM.. |
