This seems to have mutated into the Slater Gordon thread. Please start an Advfn SGH thread if you wish to discuss it here. This is the QPP thread.
Re: SGH though, do you really think SGH would not have thoroughly done their homework having seen clearly what had happened to QPP and it's aggressive accounting for WIP?
Slaters have a fine reputation for acquisitions and integration.
Look at its acquisition history and successes.
PSD was a big one, and will take time to digest.

This looks like 6 months of pain for holder here. This is a very very cheap company now, any sign of shorts closing I will be looking to take a position.

Just so you know, a tw@t alias copies posts from here to advfn in order to knock Blueshare - but free advertising I suppose.

You can read this stupidity for yourselves here - - I like the threads where fools rush in to buy distressed shares (see DX.) because they are "cheap", only to find the distress has just started & now they are engulfed in it.

Some amusing comments from Steamy's Blueshare / QPPSAG forum, including one from the Sage of Blueshare himself. Seems nothing at all was learned from the QPP debacle.

Now where's me QPP cash payout? Off to the EGM to make sure it all goes through as bargains like this are amazing for the longer term.

Bang on, what's left is massively cash burning and non cash generative. This is fact, don't take my word for it or even the expert bulls who have called this perfectly. Just look at the balance sheet in black and white. You Don't need to ask anyone. Nicky the blind contradictory bitter bull has finally admitted too that the 'firesell' from qpp has kept this fraud still alive

I'd sell now, take the money & run.

There's nothing left in the company that's worth a damn.

So after the consolidation she'll have 300 shares, albeit she'll get 3000 X 10p in 2016 too = £300. That's (2700 + 300) about what they're worth right now so the reason people not selling up is potential value left in the business?

She'll get 90p per share so £2700. The shares will then consolidate.Assuming the court approves, etc etc.

Sorry for being thick - my sister has 3000 of these. What will she get come December .... Does the consolidation come first, ie, she'll get £270 or £2700 then the consolidation? Thanks in anticipation.

Lol admitting if was a firesell on record? You went months saying it was no such thing, qpp were fine? Firesell indicates qpp was in a mess, surely not???Contradiction as usual

patience jarbie

it would have been silly to pay out too much and squeeze working capital,
and capital to develop Ingenie and Himex

but personally now

my main interest is in how SGH exploits the assets that it bought in a fire sale from QPP

Nicky Name - you get 90p cash
and a share drop to near 0p
98p has a built in cash return
which we expected to be 100p

Whichever way you look at it
the share price at 98p with
capital return of 90p
is near enough in value to 0p
Name change will not compensate
for 1 for 10 consolidation
it will only give room
for further share price drop

interesting 'logic' there jarbie

I will get 90p cash, but in fact I am getting 0p?

Same cycle again 'oh TW said slater is 0' etc etc. No lessons learnt from qpp. Question why it's going towards 0 which is perfectly logical with their profits warning, debt and operating costs then get bitter.Funny as idiots brought into this in protect of what happened to fraud quindell and its heading towards the same way
