I believe S&G have made the comment in the initial announcement that the file transfer was not significant, because they were continuing to buy them bit by bit, and by saying that, negated the need to keep posting to keep investors in touch, and to then hide qpps problems for them

Did you not know you can borrow more money against an asset if the asset is deemed to be good security and you can service the cost of the debt going forward.

We would all be still living in mud huts if it that principle didn't exist.

S&G have bank facilities of about £130m and little cash. Not only do they have to consider purchase price they have to consider working capital, which is where qpp failed.

Still failing to see the point - slater don't have 600m+to spend on acquisitions they only have 130m. They have not been seen rasing money so where is it coming from. Historically they only pay pennies too. Please look at their history.More to the point witg qpp position they really going to even try to find that type of money when qpp just needs to sell anything to raise as much money as possible. Placing will be on its way soon after report

£640 m ++ stated by Quindosh and NOT refuted by S+G is an awful lot for a few case files...
