The comparison between TRAK and QTX is an interesting one. Both are going in opposite directions... It's funny but on the TRAK thread you can't get a word in hedgeways and there is generally dozens of posts per day. Plus thousands of shares traded daily. Whereas over here there is only a handful of us posting and hardly any shares traded.. Some would argue that TRAK is better value with a pe less than half QTX's.....but the former goes down and the latter is going up....make of that what you will!

ps Looks like my scepticism about TRAK is being born out. Interesting comparison. pps Wouldn't dare say that on the TRAK thread :-)

You aren't joking about this being sooo little traded, look at the affect 4 small transaction have had in the last 20 minutes. Nice to have a stock moving against the prevailing sentiment.

But it's soooo little traded, cfro. I managed to increase on 22 Jan for 269. Swapped my PHD holding for QTX. Happy with that decision, however PHD seems to be popular despite acquisitions and poor revenue performance. QTX is on my 'increase' list but there is not much chance. apad

Hard to find anything blue on a day like today but QTX still quietly nudging into new highs......

...a much cheaper share producing growth...imo ..is STM. .Down today , phps a mix of profit taking and hitting expectations but not exceeding Big profit margin. Looks like today a biggish hldr is reducing exposure....cld be one of hldrs after converting loans to shares or... that wants top slice and not have too many eggs in one basket. Phps worth a look.

Quite correct Hydrus. Pleasing to see QTX extending the breakout.

Amazing performance in this current market, everything else expensive has been correcting.

I expect it is cfro, my point was only that it will defer profitability to increase customers. Not that it is a bad idea. Also not big for me, H. I bought the trio of QTX/KNOS/PHD for fun. I'll back the winning dog. apad

Not a big holding for me but certainly worth seeing how the international growth in particular pans out. High quality but expensive company.

It certainly isn't cheap but then as pointed out by another poster broker forecasts might be too conservative

Perhaps the 'promotion' is working wonders given the strength of today's RNS?!

Statement does say profitability is ahead of expectations though.

Does look good, but the promotion will have a significant effect on profitability I reckon. apad

Yes indeed. Trading ahead. Total number of units sold up 74%. Sales in France and USA, its early new growth markets, "almost doubled".

Good that positive momentum is returning here. Blue sky imminent? It is that time of year when tip sheets and newspapers come out with their list of "nap" tips for 2016. I would not be at all surprised to see QTX among the favourites.

I was late to realise that there is a decent growth business here, cfro. I hadn't spotted the software added value and just thought of it as a spy in the cab with no barrier to entry. apad

I have a bigger holding in TRAK than i do QTX but lets see just how 2016 unfolds for QTX....

TRAK acquisition this morning. TRAK deal with AA. QTX highly priced, a seller and no news ... ....all add up to price pressure. The acquisition further prejudices my view on TRAK, but that might be post hoc justification of my decision to buy a first holding in QTX. I will put QTX on my 'increase' list if they deliver decent organic growth in customer base (rather than just profits). Interesting. apad
