I think it had just got too far ahead of itself, shame I did not sell some at £4 though. Nigeria is casting doubts as well, the sooner the issue of the election is sorted and the better. Still a good cash rich company to stay with I think.

I think the reason for the fall is that PZC was trading on an historic high P/E I'm not saying it isn't a good company but the current price after a drop still factors in high growth rates. See here for historic P/E ratios

Hi all, in sept I said I wouldn't sell unless the price went off the top of the graph well last week I considered £4 to be just that, especially after taking in this info on TMF regarding past P/E ratios. Not that it isn't a good company but I will only consider buying back in at below £3.

Now that the Nigerian National strike has been suspended after one day, I trust that the President will act on his promise to increase the minimum wage and so limit the likelyhood of further strike action. It should help to curb the 10% drop in share price

So it was quite the opposite of a takover and it has not harmed the share price.

The charting position on PZC looks to be that while above the last August intraday high of 354p he shares should hit a February resistance line projection on the daily chart of 410p over the next 4 - 6 weeks.

Although PZ Cussons surged 35.1 to 382.2p, people familiar with the matter poured cold water on the tale. The company is understood not to have received an approach and is unlikely to be for sale given that the descendants of the founder still own 51pc of the company.

Hi zulu trader are you sure you have the date right on the Panmure forcast? I have the date for that forcast to be 30 7 10. It's strange if they would update with an identical forcast for 21 9 10. I haven't yet heard anything to substanciate any bid rumour but there was was certainly a price spike about something yesterday.
