17/12/2007 08:14 | Seems the market only wants to see a 'biggie' deal. | boischastel
14/12/2007 15:49 | Wookie. Yes, saw your post there the other day but forgot to say anything to you! Have held them for about 3 years (since pre-consolidation days) and think we will see some real action come 2008. Hoping for 60p+ buy March. As you may have seen bodg's posts, coal could soon be another gold imo! Sorry OT folks. | boischastel
14/12/2007 15:42 | Cheers Bois, I bought some CDN yesterday and again today..i think you hold them as well..they look promising. Would be interested to know your take on them? | wookie77
14/12/2007 14:08 | Originally as Sterilox they took payment in whatever ways they could, but as it's now an US based co I don't know. Would imagine lots of leases expired, particularly in the UK, but that is more because the US bit had (until now) very little interest in the Steri bit. MA. As I understand it, they can buy the solution from Puri or buy a machine to make it themselves, so depends on the usage of product. A small store would just buy product already made as a concentrate, whereas larger places would buy their own machine - again of varying sizes. IMO. No-one else produces the solution as far as I know, unless they have some kind of licence from Puri. Might be a nice little earner if you know of anyone with retail consumable contacts or Health Trusts/Local Authorities (hospitals/dentists/ | boischastel
14/12/2007 12:43 | In addition to the units themselves, does PURI insist on providing the consumables that make sterilox? This would also need to be taken into account when calculating income, and more importantly for the SP, forward contracted income. | mattaltass
14/12/2007 12:38 | Wookie I see your point but the maths does not work. 4500 units out there since the company started. some on lease, some paid cash. some leases probably expired. I don't expect that PURI finance the leases themselves, preferring to use a finance house. In a similar way to office equipment. I suspect that if units are leased then PURI would get the full cash value from the finance house. Bois is that how you see it working? | samdayeh2

14/12/2007 12:33 | maybe not....! | wookie77
14/12/2007 12:30 | Ok, going by Puricore interims they state 80% of the 1450 sterilox systems were held under lease agreements.....and the revenue from sterilox for the first half ot the year was $3,800,000....for sales and leases...so until june 30th 290 were sold and 1160 were leased. If we knew the cost of sale for each individual machine we could work out the leasing cost.....if you catch my drift! | wookie77
14/12/2007 12:21 | No Wookie, not even if you search under Sterilox. | boischastel
14/12/2007 12:16 | that would be helpful..cant find anything on pricing at all on their wesite | wookie77
14/12/2007 12:15 | Don't think the lease price will be anywhere near that high, though am trying to find out how much. | boischastel
14/12/2007 12:12 | And thats the tip of the iceburg. Can you see supermarkets housing sterilox vending machines for use of consumers? Thus adding an additional market? Customers would buy a litre of sterilox fluid as opposed to bleach? With maybe royalt payments to Puricore on amount sold? | wookie77
14/12/2007 12:08 | Well their last rns quoted the following: "Our combined current customer network now represents a total of about 4,500 stores" So surely that would be 1 machine per store? = potential monthly revenue of $4,500,000. Or an anual revenue of $54,000,000 They go on to add: "we also have evaluations underway with other chains representing a further 4,400 stores." Which would add an additional anual revenue of $52,800,000 if successfully converted into business. So potential short term revenue from the sterilox system on both current and pending deals could be as much as $106,800,000 per annum going on $1,000 monthly lease figures! | wookie77
14/12/2007 12:03 | What I dont know is if there are any servicing/running costs as well as just the leasing on the kit itself. | samdayeh2
14/12/2007 12:02 | i think so | samdayeh2
14/12/2007 11:51 | Not sure i follow.....are you saying each machine "could" be leased at around $1,000/month.....? | wookie77
14/12/2007 11:44 | If you know the CAPEX of each piece it would be easy to work out. I think unit cost is about $30k so leasing over 3 years would be app $13kpa. I might be wrong but I always thought that the big deal might be 1000 stores at a cost of $30m therefore $30k per store. It is a rough calc and might be well out so don't bank on it! | samdayeh2
14/12/2007 08:57 | Does anyone know the leasing cost for one sterilox machine? There's no pricing on their website. Trying to work out future revenue potential.... | wookie77
13/12/2007 16:26 | Dear Santa............... | mattaltass
13/12/2007 13:08 | Hi Sam, looks like some interest at last....fingers xxxxd we get the Big 'un by year end! | canford cliffs
13/12/2007 10:50 | We all seem to be hearing the same thing, no smoke without fire.. Great news with the 5 deals earlier this week, this should give some stability to share price | samdayeh2
13/12/2007 10:19 | Someone paid 43.5 this morning. It appears anyone wanting a decent volume has to pay considerably above the offer price....Wouldnt take much buying to push this up from here imo. | wookie77
13/12/2007 09:30 | I heard that the deal has been done...not sure why there is a delay in announcing it though? Could be any day. | wookie77
13/12/2007 08:29 | Ok - so what is the current situation regarding the big one with Safeway? | canford cliffs |
