Re InvestorDave's wondering about a stock overhang, we're only 2 months past the 365 day lock-up period for certain investors (see below) so I suppose that would be a potential source of a supply of shares entering free float.

"The Company (365 days), Invesco Asset Management and certain other shareholders holding 1% or more in the share capital of the Company (180 days), certain shareholders holding greater than 0.2% but less than 1% in the share capital of the Company (90 days), senior managers and certain other employees (365 days), and the Directors (365 days) have committed to lock-up arrangements following Admission, which are subject to certain customary exceptions, including waiver by the Global Co-ordinator."

Also finished the day with a load of very small odd value transaction, don't understand why that would be the case for such a recently floated company.

There has been a fair bit of buying here of late, I expect this will be back at the post flotation level pretty soon. Some newsflow would be good also.

I wonder whether there is a stock overhang here? There has been a lot of buying recently but the share price has barely moved.

ie what better a multi bag story than a cure for baldness in the portfolio!

Amazes me that a company with a potential cure for baldness doesn't have a greater following on ADVFN, always thought it was full of rampers with a multi-bag story.

Read it but I still can't make my mind up as to whether this is a cash cow for old, ex pharma directors, or if it's a potential winner, guess time will tell.

SP movement could be due to the earlier RNS from tody, from my understanding of the RNS there has been a transfer of shares between two entities, but from what I can understand it's between the same person ???? Can anyone enlighten me on the RNS?

Surprised to find no thread for this, so, having bought in, here one is...

PureTech’s businesses originate from a systematic and rigorous theme-driven process, including an unbiased analysis of more than 650 scientific discoveries per year. This process has resulted in an advanced pipeline of seven growth stage businesses, five project phase businesses and 10 concept phase initiatives.

PureTech is focused on areas that it believes have reached an inflection point. While not limited to these areas, PureTech’s current focus is on the immune system, the central nervous system (brain), the gastrointestinal system (gut), and the signaling and interfaces between these systems.

10 July 2016 - Mail on Sunday Midas share tip - "From obesity to hair-loss... US firm PureTech turning concept into cure". Midas verdict: PureTech is valued on the stock market at £350million yet some of its individual businesses could be worth two or three times more than that. This is not a stock for short-term shareholders worried about Brexit-induced volatility. But for long-term investors, the shares, at 142p, could prove to be a real bargain.
