...Following the Transaction, PureTech continues to hold 5,295,397 shares of Karuna common stock, which is equal to 20.4% of Karuna's outstanding shares, and has a right to royalty payments on net sales of any commercialised product covered by a license granted by PureTech to Karuna.

So, at $70 = $371m / £300m

Agree. Nicely understated company. Plenity has the potential to be a game changer and possible Nasdaq float which will also help price.

Interesting company this with a lot of cash currently on its balance sheet plus one of their stakes in a American listed company has a market cap that when added to our cash on the balance sheet adds up very favourable to our current market cap without taking all our other interest into account. Should know more when our results are issued in early April. Looking for a release date for plenity which will hope be a real money spinner here

Said enough to move 10 per cent against the tide....the pipeline sounds v promising as well as noting the value of holdings. I added earlier along with others given the broad and numerous range of upside opportunities

Of course! We flew through the low £2’s so expect a similar thing will happen once we stay above £3 for a few days. We remain remarkably good value given recent newsflow.

I agree that selling a chunk of KRTX is a good move. Has anyone looked into Invesco's holding in PRTC? It seems that most of this is in Mark Barnett's troubled funds...

broker upgrade here today from peel hunt £4.80. good chance the company must be looking at a usa listing, will surely add some meat on the share price if that gets the nod.

By my back of a cigarette box calculations the karuna shares were sold for a smidge under $100 each & their current market price is $115. Perhaps PRTC should have let the Karuna shares run for a bit longer before selling?

sorry - think you miss my point. PRTC are proving they are good allocators of shareholder capital. the $200m cash has to be a good thing as they are de-risking the balance sheet. my point is that with the other companies ex karuna and total cash effectively valued at 'zero', why don't prtc list in the us where investors will think that is bonkers? institutional investors here lack any sense of imagination and will simply see this a blue sky business with no value creation. They would rather buy marks and sparks on a p/e of 10 and be blind to the slow death of such companies over the coming decade.
$200m of cash that has come from a stake sold to goldman would infer that the remaining stake has good value too. goldman are no mugs when investing their own money me thinks.

I don't agree Edward the bod have done a smart thing. If the next trial did happen to fail what price k then? If next trial is a success then our remains holding will rocket. Use that 200 million to reinvest and strengthen the balance sheet. I can see some big fish start looking at us here soon if our pipeline carries on in a good vain
