Good article. Worth reading, especially by the supporters of that lying, narcissistic, sociopath, Putin.
Narcissism and compulsive lying are well documented characteristics of sociopaths/psychopaths.

The Count- I find the Russia sympathisers on here hilarious. They go on about NATO this, NATO that, and yet I wonder if any of them actually listened- or are capable of listening-to huylo's speech a fortnight ago when he explained exactly why he went to war. 40 minute speech, 35 mins about why Ukraine isn't a proper state, 5 mins about NATO. Simples. Anyway I've got them filtered, if they are happy to offer their "expert" opinion on a subject they know nothing about then I don't want to be distracted by their expert opinion on stocks either.
Good thread from former Russian FM Kozyrev here.

Cash on hand and revenue is very important in a liquidity crisis, even with the gold price taking off.

Yes, atlantic57, PUR is far more speculative than GPM, which in turn is more speculative than ETF's, GDX & GDXJ. However if the management can "get to grips with the production problems" then PUR will far outperform GPM, GDX & GDXJ. It's a case of how much risk you are prepared to take. "You pays your money and you takes your choice"

Pap yes good article but the key factor here is the ability of Management to show in the quarterly figures that they have got to grips with the production problems.

A long article, but very well worth reading. This guy is very knowledgeable on gold.
Good news for holders of PUR, GPM, etc.

On Topic - Latest Presentation?

hxxps://www.puregoldmining.ca/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/PureGold-Deck-Feb-17-2022-Final.pdf

As of 15th Feb:
Cash on Hand $35 million
Cash from ITM Dilutive Securities $2 million
Loans and Borrowings US$85 million

SFS, yep, all about management getting to grips with grades and cost control. They do seem to be a more time served hands on bunch so one would expect things to improve and POG is helping for sure.

Temujiin, we start to come out of covid, looking at high inflation and Boris's partying antics and from nowhere the threat of a 3rd world war at worse, and most likely another cold war more threating than the last. Well it appears to have put Boris's antics in the shade ! I guess no one fancy's taking over from Boris. On the positive side pog doing well. So back to topic, if Pure have got their act together then things will come good here especially if pog goes through $2000.

Temujiin,
The danger is that no one in their right mind in the 21st century would attack a nuclear plant. Unfortunately the last two years have pushed many over the edge. The best solution would be for russians to revolt and deal with the issue internally.

Only nutjob RussBots think Putins is anything other than a murderous child killing psychopath. The sooner someone in the Kremlin puts a bullet through his head, the better the world will be.
===========================

Poll from yesterday.

Nearly 19 in 20 Ukrainians (93%) said they considered their country’s future to be closer to Europe than to Russia. This included 78% of respondents of Russian ethnicity, and 84% of those in the east of the country closest to the Russian border.

Most Ukrainians think sanctions will be effective – but they want more help.

~ less than a quarter (23%) said they thought NATO was doing enough to help Ukraine, 44% thought the US was doing enough, and 46% thought the EU was doing enough. However, a majority (53%) said they thought the UK was doing enough to help.

1,040 adults in Ukraine were interviewed by telephone between 1 and 3 March 2022. Results have been weighted to be representative of all adults in Ukraine.

I had a dream where I was hanging out with Putin. As we were leaving I said “Such a nice man became president of Russia.â€ʏ33; He replied “you can do anything too, you can become Queen of England.â€A533; I responded “but not Queen of Russia!â€ʏ33; We laughed as we parted ways.

I assume you are Russian

Doesn't seem terribly difficult, an army that fits in to Wembley stadium has taken an area the size of Britain in a week, Kherson is a city of 300k, Melitopol 150k. The Russians aren't animals they aren't going to storm populated cities like the Americans in Fallujah.

They haven't been many refugees at all, it isn't that sort of war. Besides I believe Russia has taken in several million reguees from the Ukraine since 2014.

Really? Then why is it so difficult for the powerful Russian army to take even small cities?

Also, why are Ukrainians choosing to move across to Europe and not Russia if they want to be part of Russia so much. Just a trickle of Ukrainians have decided to escape the war and head to Russia, this is quite telling.

Given the Zelensky regime is forcibly conscription every male and releasing convicts I don't think the Ukrainians do want to fight for him and his handlers.

I am pro British, you just seem anti-Russian. We don't have a dog in this fight and we have already paid a heavy enough price involving ourselves.

I'm not defending Russia. Ukraine aren't members of NATO. NATO member countries have waged war all over the place, usually based on a pack of lies, and yet we're supposed to be believe it's a purely defensive alliance. It's not really credible any more than the nonsense coming out of Moscow.
NATO have one job to do and that's to avoid a war in Europe. They've had more than 30 years to understand Putin and do whatever's necessary to avoid a war with him/them. When you hear NATO leaders talking they don't seem to have a clue about what's happening. One of them said Russia would attack the Baltic states as well - so, Russia's going to attack NATO members - really? - they (NATO) are morons.

andrewsr - have Ukraine attacked anyone not invading their country? Actually, have Ukraine ever attacked anyone since they gained independence from Russia. The answer is "no".

Presumably Mark Bristow, in that link posted earlier, is also a Russian bot when he highlights failures by Western negotiators that led to the war, he is also right that the world economy is on the verge of collapse.

Speaking of which that we are revenue generating is a huge benefit, also Canada shouldn't see the energy price problems we have here.
