Yes, off course you weren't replying to me message, lol.

Anyway, this Russian move is all going to really kick start the movement in the precious metals prices and then the stocks, and PUR is a highly leveraged gold stock. One only needs to look into the future to see what then 'may' happen to the share price I give it a strong chance of happening and will keep buying as funds permit.

The stock was 60p back in Nov, well things are looking better now with the production and the gold price has increased. It's almost a 50% uplift from here to get to 60p. As a first target:))

Don't fool yourself into thinking I was replying to your comment, you're not that interesting to me.My post was just a general observation. You seem to have an over inflated opinion of your importance to the thread. Oh, lol (lots)

atlantic57 - pretty bold statement that on a day when global stock markets and stocks are tanking. What will happen with the gold stocks is that they will be sold off with the rest, sell the good with the bad, but then as the PoG starts moving north people will come back to these gold stocks and we will, no doubt. see some outstanding buying opportunities right now. Need to think strategically here and study history or previous examples of similar events in history.

Escalating inflation, war, political instability globally, perfect conditions for gold and silver.

Worth looking at the small cap explorer, MILA, they released some good results today.

I was being sarcastic. You seem a bit slow. Obviously it is being sold off as people move to cash, as many have predicted, if the Russians move on Ukraine then ALL stocks will be sold off including the gold stocks. However, this will generate excellent buying opportunities. Just bought 10k. 23,364 at 42.8p

Ironically PUR are a beneficiary of the Ukraine invasion with POG still heading North, yet the share price falls. Baby / bath water springs to mind!

Looking at the US debt position as well as deteriorating political and demographics I can see a number along those lines, dollar would devalue a lot. I like Vermuelen and normally listen to his interviews, the best is Frank Barbera though, he also sees a super cycle in gold.

I don't know what he's on, but I hope he's correct! 🤣

Gold is already on the rise tonight following Putin's actions on Ukraine.

Arn't these the purchases already announced in the 15/2 private placing?

Depends where you want to draw the trend from i guess, but the two points in March and June don't constitute a trend line.

Strictly speaking a break out from the down trend is around 47p +

Or to put it another way, 22% :)Anyway, to answer your question the downtrend has finally been broken.Price breakout is difficult to assess as the share price never really stopped anywhere to consolidate. But for me 80p looks like the first level of real resistance. We've gone from nothing but bad news to the start of good news. Fingers crossed for a decent production update.

Yeah yeah fair enough, I was wrong on that call, although it did get to within 7p of that call. Let's hope they can turn this around now.

What's the price breakout from this downtrend? Whose good at drawing straight lines on charts?

nice, so cheap. Remember last week when I was saying how people will be wishing they had really loaded up while these gold stocks were at the very bottom:))

As an example, one can see the rerating occurring over at fellow gold miner and SHG. Could easily see a 50% plus increase from here over the next month or so, IMHO.

"Looking at the bigger picture, gold has created a significant 12-year cup and handle pattern, which would be completed once the $2100 level has been breached on a monthly closing basis. There are not too many examples of a multi-year cup and handle pattern in the major markets, and investors should understand how bullish this pattern can be when it occurs over a long period of time. The current cup and handle pattern in gold projects to a technically measured upside target of around $3,000."

This comment is from the above article. I've been going on about this bullish Cup & Handle pattern forming on the longer term gold chart for a long time!! I feel vindicated!

Yes, it's looking good. Last time around I bought this around 38p in the Spring of 2020, it went on a really nice run and I sold out in the 80's making a solid return in a short period of time and thinking I was smart. It then proceeded to run to 150-170p. What I should have done is kept buying it.

If we have a repeat of the last time this is going to run over 200p, but as Mufprat says we need continued management and mine performance and a rising POG. I think it will all happen, with the curve ball of a lowball bid. We have yet to see the consolidation of the gold miners, the takeovers and M & A activity has yet to get going across the gold stocks and general resource sector. I'm looking forward to seeing it over the next few years:)) Ride it.
