I reckon the gold price (obvious) will have a major impact on the share price recovery.

However a couple of quarters of production in line with expectations will be the major issue.

The directors know now the first quarter production was a blip that's why they are buying in this should be back to 1.50 odd by next quarter results

Well they all sold out their free options at £1.60/70 and now they have bought a fair amount back.

Hopefully a line in the sand and we can recover from here.

They need the extra money because they weren't getting the initial grades they expected, they are still having to invest in the plant machinery and the East Ramp, see the presentation on the website. Ideally grades improve, gold price improves and capital needs diminish to the point the company is self sustaining, then it will be all about getting to the eight zone, gold price and further exploration.

I don't think Sprott having them do more exploration and spending cash there was a good idea when the focus should have be on getting production up and running smoothly. Have to remember Sprott is a finance fella, not mining, and he invests pretty much across the sector. Still he stepped away from his investment in Novo Resources, he hasn't here.

Can't help but think the major shareholders, in particular Sprotts, have told the board to sort out their mess and arrest the share price decline. Otherwise we may well see an EGM and a new board. I'd vote them all it in a nanosecond, cashing in their options whilst knowing the mine was not producing as forecast was disgraceful behaviour.

Flow through share price of CAD 1.52 is equivalent to 89p. Sp currently trading under 75p. Comparative good value to buy on market.
