These guys had inside information and knew !!! That is the reason they have been cashing their options !!
Rat bags. If I was the boss I would either sack them or make them buy the shares again !! Oh' well such is life at times in the AIM !!

It comes with the territory from opening a new underground mine. It makes sense now why there has been no further good news on the mining operations ....if they had given us a commentary they would have been crucified from continuously selling their options etc !!

If they did not have Sprott on board I would not be here.....so I am sure the "smooth talking management" have now got the message to get things fixed pronto !!

It makes one think .....why have they got an M+A Director....Must be to ward off a takeover approach now if they cannot get their act together quickly 😀😀.....because I cannot see them buying other properties at the moment.....

One of the most dangerous times, from an investors point of view, is when a mine starts up, especially underground.
I am sure these problems can be resolved but it might be worth giving it a couple of quarters to be sure.
Obviously the fall back in the gold price is not helping.

I have taken the hit.
Still have a few left, but sold down.


I will be back if they can fix the issues.

Get the other ramp in operation to produce more ore.
Get grades that were anticipated.

And, gold stops going down, and we see a rise.

A flood of "sells" coming in.......round numbers as people in traunches......incliding mine.

To me, it looks like a "profits warning" in disguise.

Ok, they are still getting the mining operations going.

The actual mineres have been blasting the "overhead" the rock above the actual gold ore body. Thats an easy fix.


They are looking for:

Year one looking for 7.0g/t.

They have got 2g/t.........so far.

Its not that long ago that the company produced a very upbeat presentation . It is very disappointing to read now that things are not going as planed. Credibility has been damaged short term. They need to resolve the problems and quickly if this is to be restored . Price action today is predictable. When canadian market opens this afternoon could go lower still. I remain a holder here and hope they can get things sorted.

I'd much rather they didn't need the debt facility because they were producing enough gold to be self-sustaining; Sprott doesn't run a charity and he'll want to see a return on the debt if it is used (and I assume it will now need to be given the 2.8 g/t) - that return comes out of our pockets.

Sub 90p now. This has halved form its peak. I think the price had got ahead of itself then but surely now it has gone the other way. The gold is still there after all. How low will it go before it turns that is the question

I expect a further fall in share price today. I am out if I cannot a decent price at opening and hopefully come back when we know for sure things are getting better. good luck to long term holders

Now we see why the shareprice has been falling. However there are always start up problems at new mines. Lets hope we are seeing the bottom here now and we can move upwards.

It is 2.8 g/t not 2.8% and the reasons are explained in the accounts and RNS. New mines are notoriously difficult to get everything spot on right away.Steps have been taken to get grade control right and quantity of throughput.

Sprott has increased debt facility so no problems there, just need to get the higher grade material to the mill.

Given last nights statement no wonder the price is plummeting if they are only achieving 2.8% recovery, that's pathetic!

Jeanesy. I have no idea about this either !!! I have quite a large holding here as well. But the share price has surprised me too !!
I suppose we will have to wait for a production statement from the Co.befoete we can move forwards !!

I am fretting CMB . I thought this was a fairly safe, solid investment. sadly im losing money now here. Im loath to sell but im beginning to wonder what might be up here. I thought we would see support at around 100p but it doesn't look that way !!

Good morning all.
Jeanesy,don't frett,these are strange times. We will be fine over time here.
Don't forget all the drilling grades we have here.
The mine has only just started producing Gold recently. Gold price is being manipulated over all IMO.
Wait until the inflation figures start to come out,Gold price will go up hopefully. We may have to wait a while but inflation is guaranteed.
My portfolio is mostly a sea of red ATM. Pays at times to be just sitting on your hands. I am just doing top ups in small amounts here. Where is the bottom here? I have no idea.AIMHO ofcourse NAI.

Gold miners are totally unloved atmo. It has been that way for some time. Problem is it could continue for some time to come. Not sure when this will turn . Chart looks awful imo !

I can understand nobody likes to see the price slide but I like to look at the bigger picture here. Similar to Bwana, my investment horizon has always been 3-5 years. I've been invested here since Aug 2019. GLA
