as of 18 December - Pure Gold Mining 11,896 shares

It will be interesting to see how this changes over time.

Might see the impact of the seller no longer offloading and fewer shares being available on Monday or certainly by the news of first gold production although having said that, I do think that news is already priced in.

GDXJ have got their shares by the looks of it but can't say that was quite what I expected. I'd hazard a guess a big holder has offloaded but lots to look forward to next year.

Was hoping for more out of today but never mind, hopefully the share price will stabilise now until the new year

AIM volume is irrelevant as the real liquidity is on the TSX. Volume there isn't anything to shout about either. Scrambling for shares to fill the GDXJ order. Whatever happens later, this is a great long term investment.

Everyone this board is bullish this is often a sign that the share price goes in the opposite direction.

The merits of the project are well documented ...

However it would appear that many investors /traders may have been climbing on board expecting an instant profit today...

Looking forward to seeing how the GDXJ thing pans out tonight. Lack of activity on the TSX seems to suggest the circa 16M shares purchase is already in the bag, but all will be revealed later. Ultimately it's just a distraction within the longer term view.

Anybody have a theory about all the small late trades from last night?

Have read up on it now, they intend to purchase their stake before a certain date in order to avoid front running, with limited success. They might have bought all they need already, or not.

In addition to the west portal and ramp, which provides access to the Company's current ore headings, PureGold has approved and collared a second ramp on the northeast end of the mine. The East Portal and ramp will provide a second mining centre to develop ore headings and will provide access to ore stopes on the east end of the mine approximately 12 months earlier than planned in the feasibility mine plan.

This ramp will be driven at 5 metres x 5 metres allowing for improved productivity and providing an opportunity for potential, future mine expansion. Ramp development rates to date, and the addition of the second ramp will increase productivity, provide access to additional stopes ahead of schedule, and will provide an opportunity to focus on higher grade ore which is anticipated to result in increased cash flow in the early years of mine life.

Question on the other thread regarding the mechanics of the GDXJ ETF.Just been through this with GGP and must admit I don't have a full understanding of how the fund will buy the shares.Back in September when GGP was admitted there was endless talk as to whether the fund would front run the market by buying pre implementation date or purchasing on that date (in this case Friday 18 Dec). However the purchase was achieved, an order for approx 135M shares was reported after the close and at a premium to the closing price. It all got a bit volatile as the MMS filled the order. Incidentally GGP (and other sticks) will be going through the same thing again as the fund us rebalanced.Apologies for not being more definitive.

Great RNS. And we're off. Gold producer now with $58mn left for development and exploration growth. I genuinely expect this to become a top 3 Canadian gold miner over the next 3-5 years based on today's gold price. The management team are exceptional in their experience and execution to date. No over egging the RNS's and delivery on time and budget (or ahead) is the norm. We have a top quality team in charge of a top quality asset in a top quality jurisdiction. No sellers around so MM's don't know what to do next with this. Mine are safely locked away in a SIPP for at least 5 years.

Mufprat16,

Cracking RNS, off we go with $58M cash in hand and a resource that is only going to get bigger.

======

I will go with that. We aresitting on a pile of cash to finance the drilling with an other stream of cash coming in over the next quarter.

As you say, resource and mine are both going to get bigger.

O/THey bwanaGood to hear from you. Was a bit worried because I hadn't seen you around for a while. I will put that down to too much wine and women in Cyprus :-)I'm good thanks. Releasing some of my EUA profits has allowed me to get into a few more exciting looking stocks, mainly in the gold and copper space. Still got the majority of my EUA shares remaining for the end game though.PUR is deffo a long term hold for me. They just seem to do everything right, and appreciate your tip when I bought in at about the 70p mark.Stay safe buddy
