Maybe you are right; maybe though it is the new CEO clearing the decks of all legacy issues that he can blame on someone else. They were optimistic on trading in January and they have not said anything further today so also suggests still trading in line with expectations this year

They were in early talks so are not in an offer period.

Consequently they have no need to mention that they have walked away after reviewing the company and its business model.

If that investor was not still in talks the NOMAD and PTO would have had to have put out a statement to that effect today.

when we get come news on the Chinese interest whether positive or not -we should all meet up in a pub (London ? good for you all ?) for a laugh after the relevant announcement. After all this thread has been nothing - if not a lot of fun. Makes it all the more interesting that some of are going to be looking VERY stupid inside a few months ! I just wish i knew which ----now !

Stig - here's how it works when buying shares - you are never going to get in at the bottom and out at the top of a price range. Shares can go down as well as up. Because a share goes down doesn't mean it won't go up ever again... and sometimes, like is the case here, when it does go down it presents a golden opportunity to acquire more shares at sale prices. I know these concepts are probably alien to you, but that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Some of the shares in my pf are down, some are up... not worried at all.
