Prudential plc   Transaction in own shares   Prudential plc (the "Company") announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each through Goldman Sachs International (the "Bank") on the London Stock Exchange in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's 2024 Annual General Meeting (the "Purchase"). The Purchase was effected in accordance with the agreement entered into with the Bank, as announced on 23 June 2024.             Date of purchase: 07 October 2024             Aggregate number of ordinary shares purchased: 1,000,000 (ISIN GB0007099541)             Lowest price paid per share: GBP 7.0980             Highest price paid per share: GBP 7.2040             Average price paid per share: GBP 7.1750   The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares.
