It seems obvious to me that the Prudential share price is dependent on the China/Hong Kong stock markets turning round. When this happens these Broker targets become more realistic.

lgen av and phnx haven't been too rosy in recent times either.
Why take risk when I can get 6% on cash!
But I agree pru has been particularly poor and the divi is nothing to get excited about.

The improvement in results is similar in profile to the AIA and Ping A results.

The updated strategy and targets sounds familiar as it harks back to the 2010s and the regular 15% growth seen across the Asian businesses.

If achieved that will double the current financial performance….and with it the share price….big if as it may depend on China policy and relations with the West continuing to support their economy.
