Because of the photo Colin Liu, Jin Liqun - President, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) on some speculated AIIB were the funders.

I messaged AIIB Comms & Development Dept and heard of Barryroe that "the project you mentioned is not in our pipeline".

I guess we are back to it either being JIC or some other unnamed party?

I just copied that post off of the lse PVR bb. I think the Patriot Act reason for the hold up is probably complete bollacks. My opinion, for what's worth, is that APEC NEVER had the financing sorted when they signed the Barryroe farm out deal. I believe there is NO money. That they have NO funders and never had any funders and are just bullsh*tters.

Rather subdued here today (understandably).... I imagine that the EGM on Monday will be an interesting and lively affair, if the recent AGM is anything to go by, and no doubt the gentleman from An Taisce will be in attendance and doing all he can to disrupt the meeting and generally act like a "barrack room lawyer".

I imagine that the funds from the Chinese will not have been received and it will fall to TOR and PP to unveil a Plan B. As the kiddy himself used to say:"watch this space".

I won't be going meself as I was at the AGM a couple of weeks back and me travel budget for September is exhausted,(I live in the UK) so hope one or two of you Dublin stalwarts can give a brief resume of the path going forward if the board enlighten the masses about this.

Actually, there might be a silver lining here, because PP is a very good operator and well connected, so might well be able to pull a rabbit out of the hat. After all...he has plenty of his own money invested here and might be able to get the likes of Aiden Heavey on board, seeing as he's been talking about making a comeback.

I’d be happy to break even, invested because of a friend that owns an interest in a company that holds the oil-lease. I don’t think the money is Chinese it comes via Singapore and excuses such as the Patriot Act are just BS. I’m tempted to dump at a loss so I never have to think of PVR again.

so 750k filing was part of the capital raise.
The filing was done by Davy's.

Apparently it the Patriot Act that holdng up the money.APEC have not satisfied the authorities on the legitimacy of the financiers.
I asked at the AGM 'do we know who the financiers are'?
Both Tony and Pat answered simultaneously.
'NO'
I find this shocking after all the time.
